That's the biggest problem I have with Kessen 3 as well. While I love the fact that I have more control over my troops, the lack of strategy elements is just annoying. No ambush parties, no fire attacks, no flood attacks and not even siege weapons . Also, the A.I of your allies is bad... really bad. The worst possible situation is when more than two of your units are engaged in combat. This means you need to switch between them constantly. Otherwise you'll lose half of your troops >_>.Story and characters on the other hand are great. It feels refreshing to see a new side of Nobunaga after playing so much SW, WO and Onimusha series. And Toshiie... is about 10x better than his SW2XL version. He acts much like in XL but he hasn't got anything to do with Katsuie and he's uh... normal? This is the Toshiie I want to see in SW as well. But knowing KOEI and Warriors series... I guess it's just too much asked. |
