Why should Koei care? Square was orriginal an all Nintendo company, went to Sony, and are now on all 3 systems. Rare were once owned by Nintendo, then sold of to Microsoft (and probably just in time looking at the games they have been making). Heck Koei were making games for Nintendo as well in there early days. There is no such thing as console loyalty, as it is all to do with how much money they can make at the end of the day.
