And you don't carry over that much data, just your finished skills. Like if you started with Rally lv 1, but had Rally lv 3 at the end of the game you'd carry over with Rally lv 3. Your stats, money etc are reset though. Unless you finish parts of the catalogue, then you'll get to have some additional things like money and equipment.
