The Merc with the best reputation on the game is Henry Percy (surely?), but nah, there's no one quite like Lu Bu/Tadakatsu/Musha on this game, unfortunately. I don't think a character like that would particularly work though, it's VERY difficult to strengthen your character via armour and weapons, and you'd probably end up getting killed by him nearly every time you played him. I think I've played a good 15 hours of the game so far (got it a couple of months ago) and I'm still stuck on 2 stars of fame, I don't think I'd stand a chance.
