Well from what I read he started off as a bad boy by defeating and taking peoples weapons and carrying them around. But eventually was defeated and followed Yoshitsune.

So one could assume he'll stay with Orochi in most of his story and then defect to Wu once defeated by Yoshitsune Minamoto. There's a cutscene pic that shows both of the two about to or dueling together, so that could be just before the last stage or something. The cutscene looks like from Itsukushima, so perhaps they bump into each other just before he bumps into Kiyomori.
