We're drowning in information and starving for knowledge Posts: 174 Group: Members Member #17,622 Joined: August 18, 2008	I've read that defeating all unit types unlocks the Adaga Spear page, and leading all unit types unlocks the Fire Spear page. I've been slogging through 3-star fame (currently avoiding doing the Battle of Orleans while I work on unlocking guns), but I've already seen Adaga spearmen on the battlefield - I've even gotten their shield/spear weapon as a drop, but I think they stink. I'm pretty sure that I've already defeated at least one of every book type (from knives, chariots, engineers, magic, arqubusiers, etc), which is why I worry. Whatever the Fire Spears are, they've got to be better than the extremely slow, ineffective Adaga. However, I've only got one page of "this volume has been lost" in the spear tome. Is this a "you get one or the other"? Or can I stop worrying about it and get both? So far, this is what I've been able to figure out on general tome drops: Starting Tomes: Swords, Horses, Bows * 1 star: Knives, Spears, Halberds, Axes, Clubs 2 Star: Rapiers, Pikes (long spears) * 3 Star: Horsebows, Camels ** 4 Star: Magician Currently Unknown: Elephant, Chariot, Explosive/Engineer Requires absurdly long sequence of quests that doesn't even start until 3 star: Rifles Edited by Ganheim**, Feb 23 2009, 11:24 PM.
