There's no reason KOEI couldn't just make her into Mochizuki Chiyome, who was an actual kunoichi and would have a place in the game, instead of some nameless and fictional one. Mochizuki Chiyome is not a kunoichi, but rather a recruiter of many kunoichi. Besides, they already replaced Kunoichi with Nene in SW2. Isn't "Did I just do that all by myself" enough?
