Art is a very loose term in general, when you think about it. I once went to an exhibit in San Francisco where I saw, I swear, a urinal on a pedestal in the middle of the room. That was it. A urinal. Also what about the happenings of the 1950s and '60s? Eye of the beholder? Very much so. I feel that Cosplay is very much an artform with all it's details and variations. One thing that one should always try and take into account is the interpretation of the cosplayer. Just because your feelings about a character may be positive, another person might think that they are complete jerks. Take that girl pulling on Adella's hair, for example. Respect. Respect is key. One may not like the Mona Lisa, but the respect is there. The same should apply to dance, acting, sculpture, music, etc. I will stop here before it turns into a full blown rant Whoops
