This game probably won't sell too well in North America if they keep that name. <br /><br />I think Nioh means something like the protectors who stand guard outside a gate at Japanese Buddhist temples. I'm pretty sure that's what it is or just protectors of Buddha in general.<br /><br />Anyways, if you guys already don't know Ni-Oh is based on a previously lost script from the legendary Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa. The movie, which was set to be Kurosawa's sons directoral debut, was cancelled.<br /><br />The funny thing is that the name of the movie and game was going to be called Oni.
