If the missions are pretty much straightforward, and you have a few days in which to complete it, take a few days off the actual mission to train units and aquire quite a bit of gold by taking over some of the smaller villages, and only once you start to get units with levels of around 5-10, or you have a good type advantage, should you go for the bigger castles. Ok...one thing not to do right from the start: when you see a red glow above an enemy unit, change your unit, dont go after them with the one you are using currently, you would stand no chance. When you have a unit with you, press select/back button to see what other units they are good against and weak against, this way you can learn your way around which units to use at which times, and that is quite important in being able to make it off the battlefield unhurt. Have fun, and if there's anything you want to ask about the game, just ask
