In rise of a ninja, they made it a free DLC, not a patch. Here's an article that covered it when it came out: http://www.gamersyde.com/news_5561_en.html Thing is, the way how the framework is on this gen's systems, it's possible for them to add stuff in into any game. If it was PS2 era still, I can understand, but now a days you can't really easily rule anything out. Now there is a difference between possible, and probable, which I stated about the probability of it earlier. Thing is that I've done localization before(had to within a short time), and the "hack" method we did was reference to the other set of voice/text data within an array if a player decided to change the language from English to Spanish(in reference to the project in this example).
