...I've always wondered why there's such a big demand for Kunoichi. Historical representation? Why not have actual representation in the form of actual Shinobi who served Yukimura? Is it just that she was fun to play? Well, clearly KOEI has given her moveset and likeness to Nene, so...
Yep, KOEI pretty much gave Kunoichi the axe for the SW series and only brought her back for WO to appease the fans. Nene's weapons, appearance, and similar attitude prove it.
