I liked him better in the first one. His personality was well-defined, as opposed to his lack of one in SW 2. He actually had motivation to betray Nobunaga in the first game, whereas, he just plain didn't in the second one. And it didn't help that his VA sucked balls either.

They really f***ed up one of my favorite characters. They also f***ed up my absolute favorite character, too, but that's another topic.

You definitely talk sense. I agree with you completely. His VA was so much better in SW1, and went downhill in SW2. It just sounds a bit average. And in a way I kind of prefer his costume from SW1 as well.

His personality shined in the first game!
