What I kind of meant was, most people cosplaying don't understand that you do actually need a lot of money for the right materials for costumes in order for it to work. What's the point of trying to look like DW6 Zhao Yun and then coming in with a towel over your arm and carboard armorplates? Also, you kinda need to look like the person you want to cosplay if that person displays face and some bodyparts. For instance, if you want to do SSX, you can't be 1.90 meters tall and obese. I would never want to cosplay myself, but I do think it's cool if people actually succeed.
