Hmm... Mitsuhide if I remember correctly. Seems like I picked him because, of the characters available, he looked the most like like a traditional samurai to me. I pretty quickly switched over to Nobunaga though, and generally start out with him in any new games that come out. Though it's always difficult to choose between him and Ginchiyo.
