1560....Okehazama?

If it is so, it'd mean....young Nobunaga? His rise to the throne of "Devil King"?

...the relation with the Saitos, the marriage with Nohime?

1560 could also mean...the Amago still strong in the Chugoku region. Kyushu enveloped in that 3-way conflict....the Shikoku not yet unified.

Hideyoshi still a mere soldier....Hanbei still under the Saitos? Keiji hanging out with them and Nene?

....the Kanto rivalry becoming more seriously a 3-way conflict, since Ujiyasu is still alive?

Masamune struggling his way to the top? (the Mogami?)

Hisahide nasty as usual....but maybe somewhat greener, and still fighting his "personal demons" Yoshi teru and Nagayoshi?

Kasuga still under her previous employer...? (that'd give leeway to a certain new character for becoming more important...)

A young Mitsunari under Nagamasa? (This is probably stretching it...)

Damn...the possibilities just race through my head. I'm a hapless victim of the hype machine...and it's just 4 digits. Lol.

Anyway, trying to thinking about it calmly.....

- Kobayashi posted this in his Basara blog, so it has a 99% chance of being Basara related.

- The year given is a huge turning point in Sengoku history. Applied to the characters we have, it would give much needed insight on their earlier years,

- A spin-off just came out, so I think it's safe to say this won't be too...

- the URL is http://www.capcom.co.jp/1560/ ....a place where a game would be. So musicals and other offshoots are out of the question, I'd wager.

- Sengoku Musou 3 comes out this year (right? I saw an ad for this at a game store the other day), so I guess Capcom wants to start fighting the opposition?

I can't think of anything else right now....but this looks bigger than the way SBBH was announced. Gonna keep my fingers crossed.

And you bet your a** I'm going to the TGS next september.....

...If this is a new Onimusha....I think I'll speak in asterisks for a couple days....
The adventures of Sumiyakist Q by Kurahashi Yumiko. A mindblowing read.
