Right, as much as I've tried to bear with it so far, this is getting too much now.

Almost every single character has some severe issues with the collision on their attacks, with the "weapon streak" as such appearing way off course or not appearing until the animation has already finished. While it wasn't too much of a bother at first (only horse attacks, throws, and the occasional air attack seemed to be affected), my recent uses of SSX (mentioned in another thread), Guan Yu and Meng Huo are really taking the biscuit.

After the first 3 or 4 attacks of Guan Yu's Normal string, his next 8 or so attacks seem to only have an extremely small "hitting area", so to speak, which is generally somewhere to the side of his head. His Power string is even worse, with every attack aside from the first and last having a similarly small attack area. Using the Falcon skill with Guan Yu appears to do no damage whatsoever.

On the other hand, Meng Huo starts off with a couple of hits in his Normal attack string hitting behind him, leaving everyone in front untouched (and I know for a fact this isn't right, since I've seen a much larger collision area in Youtube gameplay videos). Considering how slow his attack string is, it leaves a good few seconds for nearby enemies to get in some free hits without me being able to strike back.

The main reason for creating this thread is to find out if these - and similar - problems are widespread, or if the majority of issues are just down to me owning a faulty copy (this being the case, I'll take it back and hope for a new disc).

Thanks for any help. :)

-------------------------------

As suggested, here's a compiled list of all the problems mentioned so far, as well as a couple of alterations based on issues that I hadn't yet mentioned (issues that may be classed as simple cosmetic changes from previous versions of DW6 won't be included).

As a whole, something that classes as "faulty" below will generally mean that the attack in question does not connect or cause damage to the enemy in the way intended.

The majority of problems listed appear to only be found in the PAL PS3 version of the game:

"Heavier" characters (Jerky attack animations)
Halberd/Polearm Generics (Many faulty attacks)
Cao Ren - and perhaps clones (Many faulty attacks)
Zhou Tai - and perhaps clones (Many faulty attacks)
Xu Chu - and perhaps clones (Faulty Strong Grapple)
Sun Quan - and perhaps clones (Faulty Charge attacks, faulty Strong Grapple, faulty Mounted Charge)
Pang Tong - and also clones (Faulty Jump Charge)
Zhang Liao (Several faulty attacks, Phantom Hand has no effect, faulty Mounted attacks, faulty Deadlock Win)
Sima Yi (Faulty Strong Charge attack, partially faulty Charge attacks, missing "strings" on Musou finisher [although damage is still caused], Phantom Hand has no effect)
Lu Bu (Faulty Musou finisher, partially faulty Charge attacks)
SSX (Many faulty attacks, faulty Strong Grapple, Phantom Hand has no effect)
Guan Yu (Many faulty attacks, faulty Mounted attacks)
Meng Huo (Many faulty attacks)
Ma Chao (Many faulty attacks, faulty Grapples)
Zhou Yu (Missing flames on Musou finisher, partially faulty Charge attacks)
Yue Ying (Partially faulty Charge attacks, faulty Mounted Charge, faulty Deadlock Win)
Zhuge Liang (Faulty Jump Charge, faulty Jump attack)
Liu Bei (Faulty Musou finisher, faulty Strong Grapple, faulty Mounted Charge, faulty Deadlock Win)
Zhang Fei (Partially faulty Musou attack)
Zhang He (Faulty Strong Grapple, faulty Mounted Charge)
Ling Tong (Faulty Mounted attacks)
Cao Pi (Faulty Strong Grapple)
Gan Ning (Faulty Mounted Charge)
Lu Xun (Faulty Strong Grapple)
Cao Cao (Faulty Strong Grapple, faulty Mounted Charge)
Diao Chan (Off-centre whirlwinds, Phantom Hand has no effect)
Zhen Ji (Off-centre whirlwinds, Phantom Hand has no effect)
Dian Wei (Phantom Hand has no effect)
Xiahou Dun (Faulty Strong Grapple)
Xu Huang (Weak Grapple does no damage, faulty Mounted Charge)
Sun Jian (Weak Grapple does no damage, faulty Mounted Charge, incorrect base captured quote)
Sun Ce (Partially faulty Strong Grapple)

If I've missed anything out, put something that's a little inaccurate, or you've found something that nobody else has mentioned yet - let me know and I'll edit the list. :)
