Just asking, when is the TGS? Because it's been a bit too long without any information since the game was announced way back when (last year iirc).

Also, whilst I'm not exactly a living library when it comes to info on various characters in this series/period of life, I hear interesting things about Dousen Saito so I'd like him to be included, and I'd also like a bit more pre-Honnoji stuff with the other clans who were doing their own thing, and a bit more post-Sekigahara stuff as well. This is basically because character wise the series feels very much Nobunaga-centric, and the plot feels very Sekigahara-centric. Not everything has to end with those two. If anything, they were just the beginning.

One thing I would like is a mission based around the Korean-invasion by Toyotomi. I know people will say 'it's a japanese story!' and that but if they get the Nanman vibe (although please don't treat them as a joke, as from what I believe Toyotomi got his ass whooped by them, compared to the Nanman who were completely outclassed by Zhuge Liang) then there's every reason to include them in the game.

I wouldn't mind seeing another Takeda/Uesugi battle as well. From what I believe they had many interesting battles and the game only portrays one of them.

So yeah, I don't really know of any specific characters or their importance (compared to the ones who are actually in the series so far) but surely another Takeda and Uesugi officer are both needed, as well as 2-3 Date members and the Asakura need some representation as well. They play a big role in a few Musou modes and it's annoying to see them as generic officers (they'd also count as part-Azai members so it helps beef up the clans a bit). The Hojo also need some unique characters and I think the Tokugawa and Toyotomi need one or two more Unique designs as well for their ultimate battles, although that seems to be of the general opinion here.

I'm not fussed on who they specifically add, as I think the individual names aren't so important in this series, it's just a case of making up the numbers. I'm not bothered if they choose the 6th most important person in the Date clan over the 5th (I know there's people here who would rage about that all day), just so long as there's more various clan members is all that's important to me, and the series as a whole.

:)
TGS is about mid or late september.

now i know some people want dosan saito as a playable charcter but i just dont see him as having as great of historical story line since the only 2 battles you could really find any data on are kanoguchi against oda nobuhide and nagarawara against his son yoshitatsu. for the most part he rose up through schemeing.

now the reason i think people care about who gets in is because people who are more important and did more in their career usally can have a more historical story that can be great instead of something made up. i for one like it when they romantanize history rather than just make up weird battles that at times to me just feel out of place.

as far as the korean invasions goal. the toyotomi did not get whooped on. they did very well when it came to land battle and had progressed very well on land but due to poor naval battles and the fact korea had a very good admiral in yi sun-sin they could not provide enough provisions to their land forces. also ming china had also finally intervened and after a little while
