Posts: 2,327 Group: Global Moderators Member #9,417 Joined: August 28, 2007 Gender Female	Cosplay is typically just related to creating a costume based on a SPECIFIC character from an anime or videogame. I also believe characters from comics and movies are included too, but I could be wrong. I mean, if you're simply purchasing a "witch" or "doctor" costume for Halloween purposes, than no, that isn't cosplay because you aren't dressing up as a SPECIFIC character, you're merely posing as a general identity that is non-copy righted.
