Liverpool FC fan Posts: 309 Group: Members Member #22,316 Joined: June 6, 2009 Gender Male	here comes the mighty mark simo to the rescue!! just kidding When you play as an officer, you're job is to serve under a ruler you can't choose where or when to invade when the war council comes up, your ruler will give you a mission, which will either involve defending of conquering territory. the mercenary mission are kinda like side mission to earn exp and extra gold you access these missions by going to battle on the main screen, then selecting either one of the two missions you can also earn friends by completing these missions friends act as bodyguards in battle Hope this helps
