Dynasty Warriors 5 was, for me, the real prize for me in the Dw series. A chance to create your own ruler, and actually unite china under your own Dynasty was truly epic.
You mean Empires haha, yes i agree that in the DW series that Empires version was the finest weve had to date, the DW5 main game was also the best since DW3 and indeed better than DW6. The only fault with the DW5 series of games was the poor DW5XL, the new levels on that were awesome but could have just been added to the DW5 game - there wasnt enough new stuff with the game to justify spending money on the title and no new characters on a XL game was baffling to me.
