General Posts: 363 Group: Members Member #23,069 Joined: August 6, 2009 Gender Male	Favorite WO1 Stages: a) Siege of Koshi Castle (Samurai/Shu Stories) - This battle was fun in all four modes, but Samurai's and Shu's were the better two. Watching Zhuge Liang pit wits against Da Ji was cool, as was the Sengoku Triad (Nobunaga, Kenshin, Shingen) bringing down Orochi. b) Battle of Sekigahara - I liked the surrounded aspect of this battle, as well as the desperation that was evident in the kin against kin struggle. Very well done, IMO. c) Siege of Edo Castle - I thought Zhao Yun's attempt to storm Edo was awesome, and the fact that Zhuge Liang managed to finally outplay Da Ji was cool too. Favorite WO2 Stages: a) Battle of Wu Hang Mountain - Sun Wukong in his element! Alright! Plus awesome music, gorgeous design, and hordes of enemies to smash. What's not to love? Plus I get to rescue Mitsuhide, my favorite SW character. b) Battle of Okehazama - Huang Gai's my favorite Wu character, so it was nice to see him finally take the reins in a battle. I liked the horse-stealing ploy, and the use of the expeditionary force to assault Keiji's position. c) Battle of Bai Di Castle - Nobunaga, Kenshin, and Hideyoshi storming Bai Di? And Wukong is here, too? I love it. Add in the three-pronged assault set-up and the need to fight for every inch, and this is easily one of my favorites. Least Favorite WO1 Stages: a) Battle of Xi Liang - Those peasants couldn't stand a chance, so literally every time I played was Babysitting 101. True, Tadakatsu showing up to beat back Lu Bu was cool, but it didn't make up for me having to hold the hands of the peons. b) Battle of Odani Castle - Sakon's ploy wasn't necessary when you could just steamroll your way to victory. c) Battle of Saika Village - Fending off Kenshin and Shingen's ploy? Neat. Shame it was ruined by Yoshimoto showing up and failing to put up a fight as the main commander. Least Favorite WO2 Stages: a) Battle of Chi Bi - Let's just throw fire everywhere instead of giving this a real set-up. And let's you make sit around for a while waiting for the boats to appear, even though you've been mowing down the enemy officers. b) Battle of Cheng Du - It's just massacre your way to Liu Bei. He rarely gets near the wilderness before he's pegged with the killing blow. c) Battle of Chen Cang - Team Wild Card didn't really do it for me. Any battle that forces me to include Xing Cai and Yoshimoto in the same team is not my cup of tea. Edited by Lord Manshoon, Oct 3 2009, 01:02 AM.
