As much as I've been into the Dynasty Tactics series in the past, I've come up with a few ideas here and there. 1. Add Nanman Units - Add Elephant Unit and perhaps an Elephant Bow Unit (LOTR Return of the King anyone?). They could have immense attack and defense ratings but limited movement. In the DW games there were several Nanman leader types other than Meng Huo and Zhu Rong: Wu Tugu, King Duosi, etc and they could all be added to the character roster. Perhaps even add some of those Nanman units with the armor that is only damaged by fire, it could get very interesting with different unique units like this available. 2. Make "Ultimate" skills available to those who are able to build up to certain levels. Like if you have 90 War, 90 Int, 90 LEA and have 90+ morale in a battle you are able to use a skill called something like "Legend" in which you are able to use all tactics and all tactics inflict 150% damage. Something to that effect would be cool. 3. Regional leaders who have enough decent characters should have storylines. Some I would consider would be Yuan Shao, Liu Biao, Liu Zhang (maybe), Ma Teng (attacks Cao Cao & goes from there). 4. Make this game more difficult that DT2!!! I knew DT2 well enough to erase my save dat, start the game all over, play on Advanced, and still be able to dominate in every scenario. It got to the point where the game got so easy that I was only playing to see what I would be able to accomplish. 5. Has anyone considered that instead of making another Dynasty Tactics game that perhaps Koei should look into making a Samurai/Sengoku Tactics game? |
