I guess I'm the only one who already got bored of Nioh. I just find it too difficult, the character dies so easily and it's not fun to spawn to the start over and over again lol

I'm just getting frustrated with it, not necessarily bored. I'm tired of making my way through cutting down everyone trying to gain Amirita, items, and level up, only to be caught off guard on a whim and killed, losing everything :kurokan:

Fighting that Yokai on the boat just pisses me off :hmmm:

I've actually come to think the game's quite easy in this beta

Outside of the bosses, those can still be real pains.

Here's a tip. Find some Kodama and take the blessing to get more Elixirs. Makes it go much more smoothly since you can get a ton of healing.

I like Nioh. But i think they need to nerf the enemies more :P

I understand they are trying to make it like Dark Souls. But maybe if they made the difficulty like Ninja Gaiden it would be great.

You think? Normally the tougher enemies are easy to shred the Ki of, making them really easy

To me the game is good, but to others I've seen a lot of people complaining about the difficulty. Of course some people will enjoy the game as a challenging game but I think a lot won't.

A lot of Souls fans seem to consider the game far too easy

It definitely needs to keep a balance.

I've seen people who played Souls saying the game is harder than Dark Souls 3 :P

Yeah, I've seen that too.

A lot of Souls fans like to say DkS3 was really easy too :asia:

Nioh needs a bit of strategy. It's not just about attacking without thinking.
It also needs to read and understand your enemy to know what will he do

Indeed, I like it.

You also have multiple approaches, between dodge and counter attack, block and counter attack, poke from out of their range, parry then counter attack, let them use all their Ki and punish them for it, chip their HP down slowly, try and burst them down with strong attacks or try and take out their ki and get some good damage in that way.

And that's just melee options without even going into stances, combos or buffs. Then you have ranged weapons, consumable items and magic as well as just using the environment like cliff faces and stuff.

It been awhile since I played a game with a normal LEVEL UP system, for some reason that level up system is my favorite. Like you kill enemies until you level up to the next one.

I don't like it when it's like KOEI games nowadays, it's so easy to level up tho.

I've been playing Dragon's Dogma a fair bit recently, it has the traditional kill stuff or do quests til you level up

Although I hit max level recently too, so no more leveling up for me.

I don't like ''doing quests til you level up'' for some reason. Like witcher 3

I don't like when it's a primary one, but if it's typically a smaller side part, while killing monsters get you 90% of your Exp, it's fine by me.

If you noticed in the video where I made Dark Souls-Berserk. The level up is like the original way of level up. :P

That's my favorite level up way imo. Keep killing monsters until you get to the next level.

I dunno if that is the original way though. Before video games were other types of games which used experience and leveling up, and some of them had it through not just killing things I think
You know, I'm tempted to play Nioh on my old PSN account as well, just to start over
Well and get the DLC stuff unlocked for free on it as well while I do so just because :asia:
Could probably just erase my save data and start fresh if I wanted to instead.

Yeah, I think I'm like 56.

Although I remembered it actually does have a New Game option. Not sure if it does overwrite or not, I was just playing too much Dragon's Dogma that does overwrite it :asia:
After checking, turns out I'm level 54, needs 500,000 Amrita to hit level 55
