The water boss is actually quite easy when you figure it out. It took me a while though, one fight against it took me about 10 minutes only to die right before finishing it, but I was missing something.

Could give you a hint if it's the damage you inflict that's the problem for you too, as you're likely missing something too :asia:
Am I underleveled? William is only level 15 or 16 if I remember right.

Or maybe there's some gimmick in the battle I didn't find, I only tried it 2 times so far

Yeah, that entire level is annoying for the falls...

I didn't mean the boat boss, you should be fine about that level, it's just a matter of figuring out his patterns, when to dodge and when to block :asia:

I see :asia:

I'm still not very good at dodging yet which is usually the main reason I take a lot hits from enemy :kurokan:

Well blocking is the safer option against the huge ball spinning moves I find, even if it does take all your stamina, so there's that at least :P

Either back away completely out of reach or block it and you're good. If really not confident, you can decide to only attack him phase 1 when he does his big forward slam attacks, easy enough to dodge behind him then. Phase 2 I'd say is the easier phase, but much less predictable, and you need to get the timing on dodging his ball throwing really

Nah, not seen Tadakatsu yet.

Wow that ship monster boss was very difficult, took me like 7-8 tries to kill it. And everytime I was really close to killing it, it didn't have much HP left :XD

7-8 tries actually isn't that bad if I were to compare Nioh to Dark Souls

Although Nioh's don't seem quite as bad, because you're faster :asia:

Btw which one is more difficult. Demon Souls or NIOH?

So far I'd say Demon's Souls probably, in part because it was the first Souls game and as such was a bit more awkward to control, but also because some design elements were just much harder in themselves. Still have a lot of Nioh to go though, maybe it steps it up later.

I was just thinking about that myself as I quit out and saw 2 of them doing so

Shame the PvP would no doubt need PS+ :asia:
Can't co-op without it either :kurokan:

Yeah, I had a lot of fun co-oping in the Beta, since didn't need PS+ to co-op when they're beta testing it :P

I'll probably end up getting PS Plus at some point just to play it Online, but by then I'd need to start a 2nd game to get the full co-op experience

It would be even more online PVP

I hope the PVP will be like Dks3 you can summon more than 2 people. so all the lasters can duel then :tonbogiri:

Given how the revenant fights work, it's surprising they don't have PvP already honestly, between Revenants and co-op they have all the pieces in place :P

If the co-op works the same as in the Beta, it's pretty cool actually.

You have the regular co-op that is like, you drop into someones world who is summoning at a shrine. Can be a random or can setup a password to match with someone specific.
So you have the host, who summoned, and the co-oper, who can't interact with objects and stuff, just there to fight and to guide really.

Then you have the second form of co-op, which is sort of a lobby system. You group up with someone before actually starting a level, then you do that entire level as essentially 2 'hosts', both able to interact with things and the like, however you don't have access to the shrines. Instead you have a few revives, so theoretically if you make it to the boss without dying you'd have like 3 lives between the both of you to take the boss out.

I haven't been able to see if they are actually the same as the beta or not, but the former one is the same system as Souls do it roughly, except you aren't restricted to the bonfires/shrines in that. The latter is cool though.

That does sound awesome! :o

I'd need to build my survival skills before doing that second co-op mode though ... I'd use up those revives pretty fast

Yeah, definitely not recommended first time through a stage given the lack of checkpoints
If you're co-oping should stick to the standard summoning probably :P

Use all revives up and it's game over for the 2nd one, back to the lobby/level select, even if only 1 of you is properly dead if I remember right :asia: Not sure there though, maybe just one guy can finish it off. I only game overed once in that mode when in the beta, but pretty sure only the other guy died
