Legacy of the Duelist includes important duels in all series :ph43r:

That intro is pretty cool! Might actually give it a shot sometime :ph43r:

I see it's ever older than the Power of Chaos ones :XD Have you played those?

Nah, I actually haven't played one since Duelist of the Roses, played a few that came before it though

After enjoying that one so much I dunno if I could go back to the standard card game style games
Although really it's more I stopped enjoying Yu-Gi-Oh, so had no interest in them, but I still love this game :ph43r:
Was only like last year, maybe 2 ago I last went back to it

As you say though, it is an older game, might be lacking some cards you like unfortunately :asia:

Remember if it has Jinzo, Kinetic (cipher) soldier, Red-Eyes B. Dragon or any Red-Eyes at all? Those should be old cards :asia:

Red Eyes it definitely has, both Black and Meteor, don't think it had the others though. Maybe the soldier, I can't remember the card in general, which there are plenty I don't remember in the game
Jinzo is one I took particular note of in the series though, and pretty sure it's not in the game.

I'm feeling so nostalgic for SW1 and Dynasty Tactics right now. :kurokan:

Been listening to the greatest Lu Bu Theme
SW1...

those were the days :yukimura: :hanzo:

Koei should remake SW1 :asia: and SW2 too of course

SW2 is one of my favorite games of all time, and definitely favorite Koei game with a huge distance from others :yukimura:
Would've played more of the emulated SW1, but lost the save files for some reason. That's a while ago though. Maybe I should restart from scratch :asia:

Too lazy for PCSX2's settings and stuff though :kurokan:

SW2+XL is my favorite game from KT too. :kotaro:

I feel like I should replay it again :hanzo: :honda:

I do like SW1 still a lot too, for nostalgic reasons :asia:

I really like DW2 for nostalgic reasons, then you had DW3 and 4, so by SW1 it was just a really good game to me
I did like the setting more, and the enemies scaling to your level was a good challenge :ph43r:

If SW2 kept a lot of the small systems SW1 had I'd have no doubt preferred it. Although the darker atmosphere of 1 was also something I did prefer too.
Then you have DT1 and ROTKVIII which have nothing in common with the Warriors games

Probably wouldn't like DT as much without having played DW, but DT is fantastic, and it's what if stories are much better thought out than what DWs ever gotten for them.

Then ROTK is just completely different, much more complex, you can spend hours basically doing nothing, but it's still really compelling

I've heard from a friend of mine it doesn't emulate too well. Convinced him to try it once since he missed it, and he couldn't play it right :kurokan:

Hopefully it's improved since then or you've got better settings sorted :ph43r:

It's alright I guess. Wow, steam overlay works on PCSX2

Took a screenshot :ph43r:

This game has some fantastic dialogues, but the voice acting kinda sucks in my opinion :XD

Depends on the characters, but it's definitely less consistent than SW2 when it comes to voices :asia:

But yeah, SW1 had both a lot of little nods to historic events, as well as a ton of character interactions, within it's dialogues, so I really appreciated them in that game :ph43r:

Plus it had 3 ways battles, my first ever level being one of those, which were always fun
I was Yukimura for said battle, but as Player 2 in Hanzo's story :hanzo:

Do you think DW9 will have online co-op or online anything? :asia:

Unless it has a side mode I'd doubt it. Them doing an open world game, while still following the eras of the game and it's big battles and such, seems like co-op would be a bit weird unless player 2 is stuck as someone from the same era.

I always thought it'd be a good idea to make online lobbies for battles in Free Mode

Yeah, it'd be a good idea for that :asia:

I wonder if the new one will even have Free Mode...

I'm gonna download DW5's iso file :asia: Or should I download DW5XL's? Is it better in every way?

I mean, 5 XL is better if you have 5s as well and mixjoy it.

Otherwise I'd pick 5 over 5XL, but I did really like the edit mode in 5XL. Going through the story, starting as a regular peon with only 3 normal string and no charge attacks and having to upgrade as you go

It was confirmed in latest interview/Famitsu batch that there will not be co-op or online features.

I do hope there'll at least be local co-op :asia:

If it doesn't have any it'll mark the first DW since DW2 to lack that feature

Well I dunno about the spinoffs, some of them likely don't.
