I need to play more of it, I've only tried the greatsword and the wyvern blade so far. I do tend to prefer the big swords ![]() But some games I enjoy the faster weapons more, so maybe next time I try out the dual swords or something ![]() Okay, I just really like the Wyvern Blade ![]() Much more fun than the...Jawblade? Whatever the huge greatsword is ![]() Beaten every hunt in the beta solo now ![]() Might try some multiplayer, or going after some of the other random big monsters in the zones while I test out the other weapons

i didn't have much time to play because i slept like most of one day(returned home at like 5am from a trip) and had to go to work for the other but yeah, it's fun, i can imagine the game is at it's heigh when you're in a team of 4 people, coordinating to take down something really big and stuff, i played the Insect Glaive for now and i'll probably stay with it |

Thanks, lol! And bruh, same. I was ok with it being dead after SC V because I'm forever bitter about all 5 of my mains being cut, but VI is already looking and sounding great. And supposedly, it's coming out in 2018? Even it comes out on December 31, that's only a year away, so I don't have to wait very long at all. I just hope they've taken and will continue to take their time to make the game as rich and full and great as it was back in the day. (But Namco, for the love of fighting games, pls have a decent single-player mode. When I get my PS4, I'm sure I'll play online with people, but I won't always want to do that.)@SwordOfHeaven: Your sig is great. Long live Jun Kazama. I miss her so much. Meanwhile, I'm now last.

ha! you have been outLASTed and yeah, some kind of decent single player mode would be nice, i thought SCIII's selection was nice, a dedicated mode to the CAW characters would be nice, like how we got chronicles of the sword, or how a CAW is integrated into the story in the psp one Edited by Lu Xun001, Wed Dec 13, 2017 7:47 am.

![]() But yeah. I'm glad someone agrees with me about CotS, that crap was gudd! I'm also looking forward to the music. I played SC IV and V for less than an hour each, so idk what their OSTs are like, but Soul Blade through Soul Calibur III have some gems. Anyone who says otherwise can PM me. ![]() SC II's Hubris and SC III's Ephemeral Dream made me cry the first time I heard them - they're so majestic and make me think of dances or epic plays. SCIII's rearranged version of Healing Winds is one of four songs I cycle through as my wake-up alarm. Soul Blade's An Oath of the Sword and SC III's Fearless Sanctuary are both epic, but sound entirely different. ...Clearly, I have feels about music from the Soul series. I ain't gonna apologize for it, tho!

IV's soundtrack was ok, problem is that they forsaked individual themes/stages, so the music loses out on personality and relevance, while i can clearly recall most of my favorites from SCIII(i started playing SC there), pretty much none of the music from 4 comes back to me, maybe Thanatos since it sounds like something from Guilty Gear V's soundtrack is interesting development-wise, it was an east-meets-west project, where they invited several western artists to assist them(Chris Velasco, Inon Zur, etc), while i like the soundtrack overall i think it's pretty divisive, half the stuff sounds like a fuccen mess because you can tell these people don't normally compose for fighting games, Aeon, Astaroth and Cervantes' themes are the biggest offenders imo |

I like Sophitia's SC3 theme BGM, since Sophitia is my favorite soul Calibur. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nx5ipEHasc Edited by Artorias, Wed Dec 13, 2017 1:58 pm.

Soul Calibur's music has always been top quality. I'm so glad they got the old announcer back too, assuming those trailers are anything to go by. |

yeah, the intro to Fearless Eyes is beautiful, or the final part of Battle in the Straits(Mitsurugi's theme) always gets to me, i have a few other favorites, like Confrontation(Rock), The Cursed Image(Taki), Endless Warfare(Raphael and by extension Amy) and others |
