Yeah, have you tried comboing into the weapon switch? Some of my favourite attacks :ph43r:

Cleric Beast was actually my 2nd boss
A wee bit open at the start, I ended up just exploring the other way first
Actually thinking about it, I didn't go that way because I never would have imagined that bridge would be the dead end one

Expected to dead end elsewhere then cross the bridge, but it just ends at Cleric Beast :asia:

Herculade !!!!!
The news about WO4 remember me the game Zeus on PC... I played so many hours... And my main temples were Demeter and Aphrodite, I needed people and food for them :XD .
My second favorite game on PC was Emperor rise middle kingdom.
Both of them miss me.

Yeah it seems like a cool feature. No guarding this time :asia:

Do enemies drop weapons here or are they only possible to buy from the shop with Blood Souls? There were several weapons to choose from at the start so I hope I can still get the others. I picked the axe & blunderbuss :asia:

I don't believe any are dropped, but a few can be looted rather than just bought.

Most are bought with Blood Echos after you acquire certain Hunter Badges though, if you ever loot a Badge then worth checking the shop to see what new has popped up :asia:

I picked the same starting setup actually
Love that axe/poleaxe :ph43r:

yeah, the game is a bit more peculiar about when/how you get each weapon with some of them having specific requirements, then again the weapons feel really unique with strong characterization, so you're basically missing on all the random "trash sword XYZ, trash rapier XYZ" that fall from enemies in DkS all the time, it helps in making new weapons substantial

i started with the pistol and chain cane :asia:

Yeah seems I have acquired a few badges already. :ph43r:

Just ran into that hunter boss who turned into a beast at low HP, I was close to beating it but then I lost my focus and died lol... something I've noticed is that this game encourages for a more aggresive combat as you can regain some of your HP if you quickly slay the enemy who attacked you... that is quite an original idea, have not seen it much elsewhere :asia:

I was close to pick the pistol as well but the blunderbuss is something you see less in games :asia:

Daddy's pretty much the tutorial boss, teaching you how to get comfortable in the game, that shouldn't stop you from cheesing him around tombstones and blasting his ass with Molotovs though

they pretty much marketed the change in playstyle as one of the selling points, i think the tempo of the game flows nicely, they did up the aggression of bosses and the general tempo of combat in DkS3, leading some people to complain that it became "bloodborne with shields"

Yeah, what Lu Xun said :asia:

Also, while I assume it was just misphrasing it, it's not slaying enemies that gets you HP back, but injuring them.
You used it in the context of Gascoigne, so assume you know that, but just making sure, since that can be really important, especially since the axe is so good at it :ph43r:

A bit less important on something like the cane, but heavy weapons rally really well, and fast weapons can do well for it as well, but with a bit more commitment required.

Gascoigne was the one I said was my first boss, because I just explored along that path first, and I wanted to find out how to level up before 'crossing the huge bridge' (which obviously doesn't happen) so just kept looking around
He definitely hammered home that it wasn't Dark Souls to me after he transformed and started going through all the tomb stones I'd been using for safety

I did like having an axe off with him

I see :asia: Will give it another try tomorrow.

And yeah, I could have phrased that better, I mean it seems like you recover a bit of the orange portion of the HP bar each time you damage an enemy if you don't wait for long.

This game handles recovery items kinda different than Nioh & DS3, I mean in those you can restore your elixir/estus whenever you touch a checkpoint (shrine/bonfire) so they're basically unlimited. But here it seems you either have to obtain them from enemies or buy from the store rather than automatically restoring them at checkpoints.

I really enjoyed Gascoigne's fight, so hopefully you do too :ph43r:

And yeah, if you run out of vials might have to grind a bit. One issue I had with it in the early game

Though the enemies early in the game drop a lot of them and ones late in the game drop a lot of echos to buy them, so it's not too bad :asia:

yeah, pretty much, it's annoying at first but whatever excess blood vials you loot/buy go into your chest and are automatically refilled upon respawn(and touching lamps? i'm not sure now) into your active inventory, you'll have more than you would know what to do with soon enough, unless some boss/world part really gives you trouble

Nah, because you can't 'rest' like in Dark Souls, you need to actually return to the dream (or die) to restock them

When PvPing it was actually quicker to just jump off a ledge than warp back and forth when needing a restock.

Today it's my birthday and that all. I ate two little cakes with my sister. :)
ROTK XIII is quite difficult with historical death, Shu and Wei are strong after Chibi (I'm with Wu)... I have a Xiahou Ba alone with 295 atq and 301 def... And a Guan Suo everywhere.

I now beat that boss and didn't really have many vials left after it  I think the human form was not that tough if you observed his attacks carefully but when he transformed into the beast I just went all out aggressive with my attacks and the flame bottles. The obstacles everywhere made moving around the area a bit difficult :saburo:

I kinda freaked out when I noticed in the next area that some enemies can actually climb up the ladder  went up that one tower to escape them and plan my next move, only to be greeted by that machine gun dude and then accidentally fall from the ledge to the hunter's death... I guess he's gonna grab my blood echoes lol
