Oh, that explains it then. By the way, why do people call it CAW? Isn't that Create A Wrestler?

Ah, I've just never seen it refered to as such. Also because many of the characters aren't exactly warriors. Following from that, I'd be interested to know what character types you guys prefer to play as. For example, do you prefer warriors or strategists? Characters with high Int or War? I personally prefer advisor/minister style characters but I like average stat sovereigns too. I think high stat characters make the game a little easy... (Like Liu Bei being able to recruit every officer in the game real fast with high Cha stat) |

A mix of both for me like Cao Cao they mess up on his WAR since well back when he fought he was quite good his WAR should have been around 80-85 but its in the 70's which is stupid The one thing I like to do with MY CAW is to join Shu then when I'm a viceroy I gain alot of land then betray that fool and join Wei with all the land I got then go on to crush Shu and Wu now thats fun times |

Heh Heh, a sinister strategy, but a strategy nonetheless. Actually thats quite an imaginitive way to play it. I usually just choose a character and go unless some sort of event occurs along the way. (Like having a really lame leader who doesn't expand his land whatsoever) |

If you cannot stand sitting down for well over three days just trying to beat the game, don't bother getting it. That's pretty much it. It's a good way to learn about the Three Kingdoms era... Actually, scratch that. It isn't. |

It's one of the worst for eating time all right. Especially because somtimes you don't seem to be making much progress and you keep playing anyway. You don't get a whole lot done in 20 hours... Still its hyper addictive if you get a good game going. |

Compared to my WAR stat, which could be, like, in the low 20's? Hey, every character (Even Liu Shan) has good stats. Even his CHA is in the 60's, only 'cuz he's Liu Bei's son. ...Actually, isn't Huang Hao's highest stat, like, 15 or something for INT? |

We should make a "Give yourself and others RoTK stats!" thread. Those are fun. |

Oh, you never played 9 or every other one before 7? I haven't. I've only played 8 and 10. And, as for rating, I said something about that earlier. Look for it. |

I played IX, and didn't like it. However, I don't like games where I'm the ruler anyway, so I didn't rate it, as it would be biased. As someone who both played it and likes the genre. |

Yeah, I see what you mean about that. Being a ruler has its disadvantages--If you die, your entire kingdom, pretty much, dies. |

I like how in X, you have complete freedom over where you go and such. However, it was still better in VII when traveling from Yong An to Xiang Ping took 20 AP, instead of 30 days. |

Since I live in the U.K, I've only had the pleasure of playing ROTK8, which I found brilliant. It has great replay value, and I play it all the time. I got it about march last year. |

I prefer VII to VIII. Has a more timeless feeling to it, for me anyway. However, both are good, and so's X. |

I didn't really like VIII. I felt that it was way too simple. I'm, of course, referring to the towns and such. The battles were way too long. And the duels weren't fun either. I could make a whole list of problems with RTK VIII, but I choose not to at the moment. |
