My favorites are in this order: 10-8-4-11. RoTK 10 was very good, despite AI incompetency at times. It was really a good, fun game. The only two complaints I have about it are 1. AI can be stupid at times and 2. Many officers have questionable stats. Eight was good as well, though I didn't like that you could only make decisions every three months. Battles were excellent, however. RoTK 4 on the PC will forever be one of my favorite games. Battles were fun, portraits were good for the time, and many features. Duel Mode is a feature they should bring back, IMO. Also had a stat editor in the english version, and is the only one to have it. The newest one, 11, ranks pretty highly too. Good graphics, duel and debate system. Battles aren't as fun as in 10, IMO, though I do like that officers can die in battle. Transporting is a pain, but maybe more realistic. Domestics is where the game goes down for me, as it gets boring just building new buildings. |

XI is the most stunning ,still 10 was very good when you play it you will think that you are in another world rverything is perfect and SUN JIAN HAS 98 LED thats a great thing . i hope rotk 12 will follow DW6 to the ps3 as soon as koei has the time . |

ROTK 10 has a special place in my heart. Even though the AI was stupid, I liked the consistency. ROTK 11 is probably the best one, though it lacks a lot of the neat features from ROTK 10 (I'm not talking about officer play, I'm taking sworn enemies and such). |

The best for me has to be the newest one. I really love XI, great game. The characters got Japanese voices. Despite that, I still enjoy it more than all Rotk. The portrait's look about the best, I really like how the duels and debates got fixed out. I don't remember seeing awesome looking debate's like this since Rotk IX. Overall it has to be XI. |

I loved 9 and 11. Well due to the fact that both concentrated on different things, and both had entirely different styles and gameplay, some slight miscellaneous disparity among that two made it a lot more harder for me to choose which one is superior. But I would say, both of them, I liked.. |

I like 8 and 11 the best. They both have really nice graphical styles (especially 11). Though I've enjoyed every rotk game that I've played (4, 7-11). |

I played 6-7-9-10 and 11. I did play 8 for a mere minutes to get the idea of it. The series is excellent in all, it's really hard to have a favourite for me. I did like the style of 9 and 11 most. 11 is pretty good, battles are impressive, gameplay is still what you expect from the ROTK series, skills were good. I like mainly everything in it. Besides, Yang Dayang owns! :ph43r: 9 was.... superly awesome. The only game I could NEVER EVER EVER get bored of. Really awesome gameplay, tribes were fun as hell :lol: Yuan Shao and I got some special memories  Battles were really cool B) In overall, 11 and 9 were my favourite. But really, 7 and 10 were awesome too. The battles in 10 were epic. |

don't remember if I posted already my favourite are in this order 7 > 10 > 8 don't like the rest at all 7 is the best because of the tournament 10 is following it because of everything it has, the map is cool and everything, tournament mode is back into the game, but they do not have poem mode. 8 is fine, but not very good as they have removed tournament mode and poem mode. First time marriage, sweet events and everything events are what made this game special, 3D and everything. freaking cool |

My fav is ROTK 4, 5, 7, 8 7 is really a fresh start for this game, as you can control a single player (not as a emperor...which I have already sick and tired of being king...lol) Something its good to be a hermit.. |

Ive played ROTK 4,5,6,7,8,9,10, and 11. Im a master strategist at it, so i still play it even now. Its a fun series to play. i love 8 because it holds some of my best tactics yet. But for me i like epic battles that take a long time to win because they challenge me to change strategys and tactics. 7 was awesome to play, i never get tired of playing it. I hope koei will make more ROTKs.

Ive played 2 4 and 11 so far. what i really love about ROTK is that if you love the history you will never get bored of this game. I also love the randomness too. On XI I was Shu and then suddenly sima yi, deng ai, and ma teng joined forces to defeat me  but of course..its easy to pummel the enemy leaders

9 was my favorite with 11 coming really close. 8 probably takes my third spot with 10 then 7 finishing out my list. So many fond memories of 9, all those awesome tribe battles. Man the first time I fought the Wo, I gathered a force of 2 Million against them. Rotk X falls pretty low because of the AI, it was really bad. When I can rebell in one city with Yang Hu with maybe three or four officers and go on to crush all of Wei in about a year...pretty crazy. Battles weren't as fun for me either. Still a decent game, but I liked others better. Thats my list atleast. |
