Which do you think has the better theme song? Though I love the raunchy, grainy, guitar riffs from Lu Bu's theme song, I have to go with Tadakatsu. His has that very powerful, epic feel to it. Whereas Lu Bu sounds like he just has a small metal band, Tadakatsu's has the feeling that there is some grand orchestra and band playing his, mixed in with some speedy techno though. Lu Bu's says badass, Tadakatsu's says powerful. And when comparing the warriors, I feel the message of "powerful" is what they want, not "badass". Sorry if this is breaking the rules, but I don't really know if this would count as a versus type thread since it's not comparing the warriors, but their theme songs. If it breaks the rules, sorry.

I'm not sure if this topic what will be decided as far as this topic continuing to stand but I'll post my opinion nevertheless: Lu Bu! Yeahz I disagree with ya man. Lu Bu's theme is great but I only really loved it in Dynasty Warriors 3. In Dynasty Warriors 5 the theme music for him is not as good in my opinion, although I admit that a lot of the stage music is better. The Dynasty Warriors 3 Lu Bu music just was incredible in my opinion. To be honest though I don't really remember Tadakatsu's theme so well. From what I remember it was good but I liked Lu Bu's better. |

Tadakatsu's is my fave. I gotta agree with Wo Long for the same reason. But my fave theme is "City of Flowers" on SW, closely followed by Tadakastu's theme. |

I'd have to say Lu Bu, even though Tadakatsu's is very catchy and with it you always know when he is around but Lu Bu's is alot more menacing sounding and goes well with his personality |

I'll go with Lu Bu's DW4. It has a guitar solo, great riffs and pounding drums. Sounds mighty, powerful and loud. That's Lu Bu. Although Tadakatsu's is good too, dont get me wrong. It fits him, a loyal strong general/warrior doing a great deed or performing well under bad conditions. |

You voted for Lu Bu right? ¬_¬ (<---my new sarcasm face) And at least it seems like I'm not alone. The polls look more equal now. Actually City of Flowers was really good Son Gopaul. If that's the song I'm thinking about, I remember that tune in my head now. It was fun massacering enemies as Keiji while listening to that (it was the music for Kyoto right?). I still like Lu Bu's DW3 theme better than that although if City of Flowers is what I'm thinking about then that's high up on my list too. |

depends I picked Lu Bu but Honda Tadakatsu is awsome aswell but I'm taking Lu Bu in his prime no one could touch him but if we take Lu Bu later in his life then Honda so I Picked His Prime to win out |

Lu Bu's theme always sounded a bit retarded to moi. Lu Bu's theme is memorable though,and you do end up humming it in your head. Regardless of how horrible I feel that song may be. Honda's theme is kinda funny if you get the reference. It sounds like it was based off of one of those daily samurai doramas that are on during the afternoon. (I guess you could consider it a Japanese equivalent of a daily soap opera.) |

Lu Bu's theme is a lot better to rock out to. Seriously, it just sounds harder and it has more of an impact. When I hear the theme, I'm like: OMFG Lu Bu crap I'm on red health. As apposed to Tadakatsu which is like: Oh.... it's him. Good thing I can True Musou him. |

Like I said Honda's song is a bit more enjoyable if you actually seen one of them daily samurai dramas. These are the type of songs that you normally hear when it's time for the samurai to unleash a lil' smack down. It sounds heroic & matches his character perfectly. Honestly though I think both their themes suck. Which is why I didn't vote for either. Bloodshed to repeat is a far better song to rock out to,although it's mad repetitve. Whenever I hear Bloodshed to repeat I always invision massacres and all that ish. |

lol, true. Lu Bu is very hard to kill. Even with the highest attack power, the most you can get out of him from one hit is like almost half a milimeter |

Lu Bu. I mean.. his DW4 theme was just so rockin'. Tadakatsu isn't as... intimidating. I think it's because he appears more often than Lu Bu. The DW3 theme was good, but the DW5 theme was a letdown. Too.. simple. Not enough carnage in it. |

I find Lu Bu's DW3XL theme better than Tadakatsu's. However, Lu Bu's theme is horrible in DW5 IMO and I prefer Tadakatsu's over it. |
