1. Nope. Win or lose, events still occur. Plus, you can play the major events until they are done because the time stated is indefinite. 2. Events occur near enough randomly. You will just have to wait until they happen. Most events take place in gossip by speaking to the relevant soldiers. And if you were to see an officer with a ! above his head that would mean there's gossip from him available. The other guy you are referring to is Chandos; The Xiahou Dun grandpa! Plus, his quotes will start to annoy you because all he does is whine about things and makes you efforts feel small. |

No, well, you still can choose to take part in the normal battles such as Accursion in Normandy, but not the actual events that take place there, etc. They will just keeping showing back up, but its no fun after a while, really. The events have some nice scenes and are only worth it in my opinion. |

im liking the game and im currently on the battle were the king of france, king of england,phillpe le bon(i think thats how you spell it) and maria make there first appearence.just a few more questions: Q1) How many special battles are in the game? Q2) i have filled my fame bar up for the first time. am i supposed to level up or something because when i get more points it doesnt do anything? |

are you guys as shock as me about how successful this game is turning out to be i'll be honest i really didn't think it would be as good as it actually is i thought it would just be another spin off of DW but it's it's own game and i really like it  so it's good signs for koei

Q1) I'm not sure as to an exact number but there are many that Koei put in as "Special" like the ones from History books and to further the story along. Q2) Once your fame bar is filled a special/story advancing battle will show up (within a certain time frame does'nt always happen right after your fame bar is filled) it will be designated by a exclamation point beside it. Play through and succed at it and you will advance to the next level as well as your fame bar being reset and have access to more weapons,armor,pennons, and troops. If you fail it you will have another opportunity but the game will not give it to you right away again going to have to "earn" the right again. <_< This will keep happening up to 5 stars I beleive (I'm working on my 4th) Hope this helps/answers your questions. What items should I sell? Such as landscapes, etc? I know you shouldn't sell the gems. Well, until you get the discount I heard. I have 11 now so I'm very close to getting it. Also, some items aren't allowed to be sold such as the Aegis, which is handy I must say. The only times when a rare weapon/item would be sold in any game, would be accidental, as for example I very much doubt someone would want to purposely sell the best shield in the game. |

Thanks Chin and LDZ. I checked out your review LDZ and it sounds like I could get plenty of hours out of this game if I get it. The ability to determine the fates of two different countries intrigues me. |

Yes, maybe not as much as SW2 for instance, since that takes hundreds of hours; depending on your playing style, though. But it will take you over the 100 hour mark and even further if you wish to do everything in the game. Just be aware of the Special Battle now, and if you do that then you'll cope fine. |

well, i think im up to at least 70 hours, and i still got ages to go, so year, you can get many many hours out of this game, really good, and really worth it, good history packed in with it also

Hmm? Maybe I did not do everything in the main styoryline which I was supposed to? Or else I rushed through as I ended up clearing the main story in over 40 hours
 I know that there were storylines which I had not gone through fully aswell, maybe its just me then :wacko:

Well I do have one stat that I'm sure you probably do'nt....
 100+ defeats/retreats so that maybe why my time with the game is more than yours

i highly doubt that it will ever be released for either of them...the game was initially only released for the PS3 and Xbox360, minly because of the upgraded system...and i assume that they just didnt make it compatible for PS2, and i think that would be the same for the PSP, i doubt it would be able to support it |

well...i dont think there is any videos so far...for lv1 starters, unless im mistaken and there is, but for starting out, do what i said in that other topic, just take small battles, and just take on perhaps just one enemy unit at a time, and make sure that you know each unit's strengths/weaknesses, thats pretty vital when only starting, and without any real leverage against them...my leverage is my range, with the rifles, and that works wonders for me...and didnt you say that your bows are going well? then use their range as your advantage, and yes, the timing can be a pain, but the thing i do...is shoot using one of the skills, and then use the other shooting skill afterwards, so it gives you a faster rate of fire, instead of waiting for the other skillto become avaliable again. hope all this ramble helps
