Welcome all you KOEI warriors online, As unexpected, it seems that my favorite character happens to be the strongest one after all. At first when I saw the picture of Zuo Ci online, I was wondering why he appears as an old man holding cards. Well my friends never underestimate this guy. Altlhough he is old, he weilds the most powerful magical attacks such as shooting purple lasers, creating explsions, and even finish the opponents with a lightning attack! I also like the fact that he can also do teleportation and manipulation with his cards, now thats magic! It is also best that I never knew if he is dead in the actual story. Zuo Ci wants to find a leader and put in end in the chaos, hoping to restore peace in the land. Now most of the time whether I play DW5 or DW5 Empires, I would mostly be playing as Zuo Ci. I like this character so much, I even played his Musou Mode for DW5 in Chaos Mode; I know it is insane, so thats why I decided to try and end stages for him quickly. Have you ever fought Lu Bu in Chaos Mode? If you did then you are a master! Okay I said my favorite character is Zuo Ci, what about you people, do you have certain favorite characters you like? Lu Bu is the strongest and mightiest warrior in DW. Zuo Ci is powerful too, but he's not match for Lu Bu. Although Zuo Ci seems quite ultimate character, he isn't. In fact, he has quite many weak points, which make him worse than Lu Bu. A good example are his Charge attacks. They are best used from afar, because enemies can't disturp you. However, the recovery and executing time is so slow, that enemies can do incredible amount of damage to you when you're surrounded by them. It isn't fun at all, especially when playing on Chaos. Lu Bu doesn't have problems like these Also, his S string only covers his front area, leaving your guard open from sides and behind. With Lu Bu, you haven't got this problem either. What comes to True Musou attacks, Zuo Ci uses three different elements at the end. First wave is fireballs, they only attack to front area, then he uses icecubes, well they also only hit to front area and finally he finishes his opponents with lightning... or so you think, because it always doesn't hit to all of the opponents (it just misses or they're guarding). This is really bad thing when playing on Chaos, because your guard is left open for a while and enemies use this opportunity immediately. Again, Lu Bu takes the round. He first does a stomp, like normally but after that immediately a shockwave. This is perfect combination, because it's 100% sure that it hits to all enemies in your area and deals nice amount of damage. Even if enemies guard the attack, Lu Bu's guard is not left open like Zuo Ci's. That's my opinion about those two. |

Hello KOEI Warriors, Okay, Okay you all got me, I am already aware Lu Bu is indeed the strongest character while my character Zuo Ci uses magic. Yes it is true that Lu Bu packs a punch using that ultimate halberg of his. But in the Romance of the 3 Kingdoms, its true he killed his adopted father Dong Zhuo, who I consider as a tyrant, ends up getting killed by his own adopted son. Still he wasn't enought to survive the battle as Xia Pi, I dont make up these stories but its true. I dont play Lu Bu often, but his power is very strong. Im I only the few people here to have defeated Lu Bu in Chaos mode as Zuo Ci? OH well you guys have favories. At the end, Zuo Ci transforms into a crane and was never seen again, how sad. Oh well eventually the fall of the three kingdoms has to happen, the rest was up to the people. Besides I rely on magic than power. Sincerelly, Kanetsugu Naoe

I've defeated Lu Bu on choas as Zhao Yun...might fav character. In RPG terms Lu Bu is all Strength, Zuo Ci is all magic. But I think Lu Bu has greater crowd control |

Fantastic characer. I didn't like him all that much, just cause he is a bit wierd. He is really fun to play with, but I think Lu Bu has him beat, only cause Lu Bu holds his spear like a fishing rod giving it the longest range as is possible. Zuo Ci is really fun to play with though. I just don't think its worth beating all of the Musuo modes to get him. |

Zuo Ci sure can match up with Lu Bu, their weapons are fairly the same, length and attack power. I believe Zuo Ci is a more ranged attack character compared to Lu Bu. Zuo Ci's C4 is definitely better than Lu Bu's, while his C3 is not. Zuo Ci's C5 is yet another rangy move, while Lu Bu's a crowd clearer. C6, see for yourself. |

Kanetsugu, Lu Bu at Hu Lao is actually quite easy to beat on Chaos :rolleyes:. You only need to know how to guard and if you use Fire, just keep juggling him. When he goes to Musou Rage, keep running away. |

At first i didn't like the look of Zuo Ci. But after playing as him i changed me mind. I just think his musou is so cool. And it packs a punch. |

Hello KOEI Warriors, I just played Dynasty Warriors 5 Last Night, it turns out I wanted to try both characters, Zuo Ci and Lu Bu. Now first up Lu Bu, its true this power is so dangerous, the combos I use with him is the his second charge where he just waves his halberg like a sword and causing a huge shockwave, and sometimes i'll use his 5th charge attack, its sort of similar to the second charge attack. His musou is fun, swinging and swinging at enemies and bam! That halberg hits the ground like an earthquake factory. Lu Bu is indeed one powerful warrior. There are a few statements I like to make about my character Zuo Ci, first up, not counting riding horses, did you already know that Zuo Ci is faster than Lu Bu, but not faster than Zhange He or Lu Xun. When I use Zuo Ci's attacks, I mostly use his purple lasers because the attack spreads to attack all that surround him. The explosions with the 5th charge are for those with high energy like in Hard and Chaos, and burning their health is the powerful way. I also like the fact when running charge, I'll unleash a black tornado on the opponents, faster than doing the 4th charge. How would have defeated Lu Bu in chaos mode, well may item status all at level 20, one Peacock, Tiger, Toistoise, and a Dragon helps give my character a lot of stats. Plus im equiped with the light orb, so my lasers and explosions will break their defenses, just like Lu Bu. I just keeping everyone updated how these characters are doing, and so forth Zuo Ci has still been my favorite. Sincerelly, Zuo Ci :lol: |

Very nice summary there Mr. Kanetsugu Naoe... hehe. I still like Lu Bu more than him his C2 is uber crowd control and C5 I used for generals and such. I havn't played in a couple weeks so I don't remember everything exactly. I perfer Zhou Tai though, I don't like using characters only for thier strength (not accussing anyone of doing so), I just like to use the characters that are fun to use. Many of the characters are really boring and they have dull attacks. Zuo Ci and Lu Bu both are fun to use and have fun attacks. |

It doesn't matter of the Char... Som ppl might Say Zuo Ci is better then Lu Bu some may say its the other way around.... But the thing is its how you play as them |

My cousin and I set out to unlock Zuo Ci because we found out that we had to unlock every officer there is before 'this person' could be unlocked. At that time, we had speculated that maybe he is a deity of some sort (such as Nu Wa and Fu Xi), but he's actually an old geezer not to be fu-ked with. I used him once and I was surprised to find my casualty count on its 50 KOs in about less than a minute (a faster time than usual) and his eccentric movesets are extremely powerful (ex: the cards with fire surrounding it). |

Zuo Ci = win He's the reason I started reading about Tao  His regular range is equal to Lu Bu's, he can basically clean up the opponents before they reach him. So I don't see many weak points there. If in a crowd simply jump and charge and he'll flamethrower his way out |

In my opinion, Zuo Ci is the most powerful character in the game, he may be wielding some flimsey cards, but they do a lot more damage then Lu Bu's spear could ever do, and his magic attacks just make his attacks have a good blast area, he is good knocking around crowds of soldiers, and great at killing officers... What's not to like? |
