Kabuki Mono Posts: 82 Group: Members Member #1,172 Joined: March 21, 2006	Nobunaga is extremely cool in Kessen 3; as much as I like him in SM2, he's too awesome in this game. Matsunaga Hisahide deserves an honorable mention. Honestly, at first I thought he would be your everyday evil guy, but he's totally badass in this game.

Soldier Posts: 12 Group: Members Member #6,485 Joined: April 2, 2007	Nobunaga because he was able to unite the land under his rule and also throughout the game when Nobunaga is in the cutscenes he is always kicking butt very badly lol. Also Tadakatsu Honda and Nagamasa Azai because they are both very strong and both look really cool especially Honda.

Plus I liked all of their appearances. If Amalia was really a historic figure they should definetly add her in a samurai warriors game!

And fought to achieve what he wanted. He was also one of the characters that would change. Mitsuhide got a decent look too. I like the way he was portrayed in most cutscenes with his love affair. When him and Nobunaga are using their 'Rampage' their the only ones who do it differently.

The blending of the history and his dream was outstanding and imo far surpasses the story which Samurai Warriors can offer. Watching Nobunaga age, follow his dream to unify the land and end the Chaos, moving on to accepting he too must become a demon to succeed, move towards the capital and gain massive victories to dreaming of the final result after the betrayal of Akechi at Honnoji. His character is one of the main reasons I fell in love with the game, the guys like Toshiie & Hideyoshi around it make it just the little more entertaining and enjoyable overall. Good to see another who appreciates the Kessen series posting here as well!

I loved progressing even further to see the next chapter of the story. I have to agree, it was a lot better than the stories on Samurai Warriors. Seeing most things with Nobunaga, and while his future is unfolding. He did, at the start of the game. From there it continues with his dream as what he wish happened up to, and beyond Honnoji. This is reinforced towards the end of the game where Nobunaga also says something like �Even if this is a dream��, and some other stuff to his retainers. I love the portrayal of Oda Nobunaga in the game though, certainly much better then the role he is given in Samurai Warriors.

Tokichiro Kinoshita, aka Hideyoshi. Now honestly, I played SW before I played Kessen III, and Hideyoshi was already my favorite character in SW, so admittedly, I'm incredibly biased. He's just plain... likeable. He's scrawny, rodent faced, and far from the image of an ideal Samurai, but all these anomalies are what make him his unique character. Personally, I just thought he was so adorable too. And that kick ass helmet! They tried to imitate it in SW2! But the Kessen version looks better in my opinion. Am I the only one who disliked Kicho? She was so passive about the men in her life to the point that it was frustrating to watch! Seriously, every time Mitsuhide made his advances on her, she did nothing about it. ... and Nobunaga couldn't see that... very foolish. <_<
