So... we can still command our officers... even with 2 players? If that's true, that's pretty awesome. Ah, just like Onimusha:DOD....

Yep, just tried it. Either player can command the entire army through the d-pad or the pause menu.

the D-Pad you say? ^_^

98% of gamers use the Analogue now, so the D-Pad won't be missed.. (i'm amongst that 98%)

There's an option to have either the D-pad or the analog stick control your character. Depending on which you choose to control your character, the other can be used for basic commands to the entire army.

I'm not too sure on EU release yet but I believe there wont be a huge gap after NA release on February, 2007.

Your game's messed up then, because this worked fine for me.

I have a question about the caw. If you make your warrior have, say, Hideyoshi's moveset, which is originally a normal type, can you still use the type select feature to change it to charge or special? And if you can, what happens?

You can't. If you choose an existing character's moveset, you're stuck with his/her moveset type as well as special moves.

What kind of Special attacks CAW Spear, CAW Sword, CAW Naginata, Katsuei and Kojiro have?

For the CAW movesets, you can choose one from the 9 sets available.
-Assisting arrows (Sakon)+Barrier (Nobunaga)
-Musou refill (Musashi)+Assisting arrows (Sakon)
-Elements add-on (Nagamasa)+Transformation (Nene)
-Ninjitsu (Hanzou)+Barrier (Nobunaga)
-Throw (Keiji)+Shadow duplicate (Hanzou)
-Paper doll (Kenshin)+Counterattack stance (Musashi)
-Issen (Ranmaru)+Elemental area attack (Sakon)
-Bishamonten (Kenshin)+Horse call (Keiji/Yukimura)
-Random x2 stats boost (Shingen)+Atk up, Def down (Ranmaru)

As for Katsuie & Kojirou... I kinda forgot, but AFAIK, Katsuie has the Musou Refill, and Kojirou has the Issen.

Katsuie: Attack up/Defense down (Yoshihiro) and Musou Refill (Tadakatsu)
Kojirou: Issen (Ranmaru) and Horse whistle.

Wow, both of them have useful special moves. Special move combinations for CAWs don't seem bad, but I hoped you could choose your own special attacks :(.

First of all, welcome to the KW board, Seirio. :)

Anyway, in case you're new to the Empires expansion as well.. (didn't play DW4E nor DW5E)

There is no Musou Mode in Empires, but yes, you can import save data from original games. What you get are minor things though, such as unlocking graphics in the gallery and all unique officers being available by default for Free Mode and Fictional Empire Mode.

I HIGHLY doubt they'll let us do that with SW2E, since they didnt with SM2E.

Yes there is a freemode. And it doesn't screw you out of any stages from the game like SW2's did.
