Man, you guys are really looking forward to new features rather than new background. I mean, we've got too many ROTKs, but not Nobu'sAmb.

*deepsigh* At this rate, I doubt KOEI will even consider retranslating Nobu'sAmb due to the low sales of SW2E... :(

I presume that's the CAW vid >_>? Yeah, I hate to admit it as well, but it seems that Koei has gotten lazier with each new Warriors game .

Oh well...

Katsuie and Kojiro are not CAW in this game...i expected for both of them to at least have diferent move sets and not combinations of other warriors

It's not CAW vid, it's a vid of Katsuie in the Kyushu battle map.

I guess nobody's noticed that generics and CAWs have different facial expressions now?

Those are still new movesets. And it's two characters. Big freaking whoop. It's just an add-on, not a new game.

Because this is an Add-on/Expansion/Whatever you would call it, NOT a Sequel, so you can't expect them to make drastic changes. <_<

Lets just look at the bright side,at least you can play your own dude that you customize. Then their is Kojiro and Katsui, they are playable, who cares about their move sets. This game is a Hack-and-Slash,so all you really have to do is kill people, more people, and even more people.

A waste of $30? So you buy them even though you think they're a waste? Then that's YOUR problem for buying something you don't even like.

If you don't buy them, how can you call it a waste of $30 since you aren't even spending money on them?

I'd call it a BARGAIN at $30 because I personally would get more than my money's worth. I'd probably log like 300 hours or something on it. ^_^

Its not an add on, but another game with similar/new features. Most people think its an add on, but thats because they already own Samurai Warriors 2(same characters and actions). Some people may not be able to afford SW2 or simply don't like the campaigns so they buy Empires cause its improved. I myself would rather play Customized characters than play boring originals. You may think Koei releases it as add ons(XL is an addon, not empires) , but their just inputing new features into another game with the same gameplay to get their "loyal" fans to buy it. They could easily put all the XL stuff into a regular version, but they would rather charge people extra money to get that. With Empires on the other hand you don't even have to own Samurai Warriors 2 to actually play it, you can play it by itself making it even better. You miss out on the story when you don't buy SW2, but you get to make your own story in SW2:Empires. Its fairly simple if you think about it , but complex trying to explain it :P

I mean look man.. they are cool and all..but they are exactly the same as DW... literally....they have to at least come up with new ideas or something.. yes CAW is back.. but it should have been in SW2 -_-..... they are probably trying to make up for it... we'll see how it is... I just hate it because it's just repetative and it's getting pretty boring..

It's an add on to the original. Not an entirely new game.

I heard a rumor that AGILE Sound is working to redub all the voices for the US release of SW2E.

Any foundation for that rumor?

Well if what I heard is to be seen as true, which it should be considering who it came from, I'm going to say that's false, PS.

Yes, Kojirou is playable in SW2:E.
In SW2 he is a bodyguard. He has the generic sword moveset. In SW2:E he has a new moveset that is composed of Kenshin's, Mitsuhide's, and Nagamasa's movesets.

And to unlock Kojirou, all you need is to import SW2 save file, or recruit him in Empire Mode.

I apologize for the stupid question but does that mean that i cant play him if i dont have save and does he have separate story mode with CG movies etc?
Sorry for asking all that but i am working on a project regarding SW2 thats almost finished and now i want to continue with SW2E using Kojiro.
Thanks in advance.

If you don't import the SW2 save file (like I did), then to unlock him you need to find and recruit him in Empire mode.

Oh, and remember that this is not XL, so there is no Story mode at all.
