SW2XL has so much unlockable things. I started this game on September 2006 and until now there's still so much things that haven't to be unlocked. Like double jump, 1000 kill medal. Are there another interesting skill like double jump?

I agree, i always like unlocking costumes but it should be done maybe trough the same way as items are unlocked, in Empires there is barely anything worth playing for since everything is the same as in the normal version of the game... i wont buy another empires anymore from koei, ill stick with the xtreme legends versions tho, even tho its only 2 or 3 new characters and a few new weapons and stages everytime i still like it.

Its **** that there is still no Xtreme legends here in netherlands... i guess orochi will be out sooner and then i dont even want xtreme legends anymore for just 3 new characters, i think ill be busy for 2 years with orochi lol.

I never liked empires for either dw or sw but i still bought em i dont know why...
Ive actually played dw 2 empires yesterday a stage with kojiro on freemode but he was back to level1 he did have his ultimate (sephiroth like) sword still tho gladly..
I didnt like it anymore i guess... i never really liked the pseudo strategic way of taking bases to proceed.
I like it better if just had better AI and the enemy would try to pincer and overpower you or smash head on with full force when you have low life or something as much as strategy goes.

Meh no more empires for me.

Hey, got a little question. Do people keep their 4th weapons after you unlock them, or do you need to hit Level 4 Smith and kill 500 guys each game you play?

Anyone know what the next empires will be? If I had to choose I'd definitely take Empires over the regular versions.

They sort of keep them. You need to get the Level 4 smith again, then do a level when you have it. You don't need to get 500 KOs in it though.

True but how can you get a 500 K.O. when it is like only 300..

Atleast that's the amount of people I can kill cause I don't find many.

From what I've noticed you typically need to be in a battle where the enemy has a very strong and established army with high troop numbers. For example, waiting until the Oda's clan is all high levels (or level them ahead to 20 for maximum units) and once they control a decent amount of fiefs start invading their forces.

Thus far I've found it least difficult to score higher kills against Oda since they typically dominate every game if left unchecked for a while. (especially Anegawa and Honoji when Mitsuhide glitches and doesn't invade)

So I only managed to get the game last week. And as a big Nobunaga´s Ambition fan, I am having a blast!

But any tips on how to manage to get Kojirou Sasaki into your army? In wich fief he usually "hides"? I manage to recruit most of the officers most of the time but I never manage to even face him. Or Musashi.

Kojiro is shown as an officer with Shibata Katsuie{for some reason} in the Incident at Honnoji scenario. Just choose to be the Shibata army and you should get him. I noticed Musashi usually comes around at 1592-5 somewhere around there. You can recruit him then as he rarely joins an enemy army before you can recruit him. Or you can just go into the Battle of Sekigahara scenario and recruit him while he's initially available.

I'm still trying to get the "osaka level"

Wait wait wait... Osaka level.... you mean the Osaka Campaign?

How do you get that?

EDIT: Wait I just got it a while ago. I'm not sure if these are the requirements though (I was playing as Ieyasu)

1. I won Sekigahara
2. I won all fiefs, even the ones by subordinate allies, I just annuled with them
3. The Toyotomi clan has one fief (Settsu)
4. I got myself promoted to rank 2 Minister of War (I don't know why I was never able to get Rank 1)
5. I wanted to follow history so I llied with the Toyotomi clan and waited until 1615
6. I made sure that Yukimura was with the Toyotomi clan
7. For the heck of it I made sure Musashi was with the Toyotomi clan too.
8.Annulled with the Toytomi clan in Spring 1615
9.Summer 1615: The Osaka Campaign is activated

Just like the Battle of Yi Ling in DW5 Empires, this one can be a fickle to unlock.

you know how to get the event if u play with the toyotomi clan?
because i can get the event by killing mitsunari and sakon in sekigahara but in the toyotomi clan u r allied with mitsunari...

I assume that if you are on the Toyotomi side, you must lose Sekigahara.

No

I thought that this game was one of the Best Empires games made. It kept all the special troops you could choose tactics in Free Mode that was cool B)

Yea all that greatness at the cost of overall troop count on the battlefield. They programmed them all to haul ass at the first sight of danger and you have to use a tactic to keep them from doing that.

It was good and all, but I was very dissappointed seeing that it is the first SW empires game. The CAW sucked ass!! excuse me of my language. Anyways, It could have been better. At least the Ai were not sucky like in DW5 Empires.

Nobody talks about this game..:x

SW2:E > SW2
I played that craptastic game for about 20hrs before putting it down for good. SW2:E is so much funner.

SW2:E is a good game, but Sw2 is it's equal. it depends on whether you want to play story modes and get involved with the characters, or play a strategy game that only lightly touches on the characters stories. i like both at different times. but SW1 and XL are far better than either, IMO.
