Man, I wish I still had this game. Well, hopefully they localize SW4:E.
Apparently SW4:E is taking a lot of features from SW2:E....

But that still won;t ensure 100% that the game is localized though....they will make excuse people don;t want SW4E because of the horrible sales of SW4II

SW2: Empires was a phenomenal game; I hope they do the same for SW4: Empires. This has got me all amped up.

You too, huh? The one thing I loathed about the game was the grinding to obtain enough funds to get Lv 20 weapons everything.

OMG started playing this again. I forgot how phenomenal and free this felt compared to 4 empires, no ridiculous time limits, no inconsistently powered enemies, an ally equivalent of pink and red zones, an actually competent army, almost entire freedom within management of the armies, tactics with actual impact other than a slight bit of damage to a base, no ridiculous hyper armor on vital officers, possible to win even at a troop disadvantage, an actual free mode where you could test out tactics and devise fictional stages to your own desire, walkthroughs that can be very quick or long without feeling like a monotonous slog, and most importantly characters that are actually fun to play with a sense of progression.
One little aside- I think the main flaw of this game is the lack of the content from SW2XL, the new battlefields and characters, and a couple too many duplicate fields on the map (Kawanakajima with no aesthetic difference and a empty Osaka Bay without all the ships spring to mind as half-assed) yet other than that, this game is cloud nine, can be as easy or as difficult as you want, as long as you aren't stupid you won't lose, and is a fun stress reliever compared to 4 empires which gave me more stress than my dissertation actually did ;)

I haven't played SW4 Empires yet so I'm not sure if it's there or not, but I do miss the SW2 Empires ending text/epilogue, describing the rule of our clan based on our playthrough. There's just something heartwarming and exhilarating seeing our favorite clan rule for 300 years or something like that from what I remember.

It would be nice if they do that again in future empires games in the series.
