If you can get your hands on this game, go for it! Though, it is well over 7 years in the making of all other DW games, but it's worth it. Also, I must say that DW2 is extremely challenging, especially when facing the original Lu Bu's moveset, before it got changed in DW3.

It was only really great for those people who played it back then and are still with the series. Due to the 'lack ofs' most would find this and 3 quite a downgrade unlike if you know what to expect or your basically hardcore enough to forget the negatives. IMO, its also why those who have only just recently got into the series have no high remarks about DW3 because they've judged with no real experience (or when they were young like many of us were), or comparing them to a better gfx game like DW5. Besides, it was the first step, really. Then came the biggest improvement the series had ever seen - so many aspects were improved and put into DW3.

I still consider it a very good game and I have endless respect for it. Although I no longer play it as regularly as I did, the scenes, the experience of playing it, cannot be forgotten. Zhang Fei refers to Lu Xun as a <child born out of wedlock> after the fire attack succeeds.
	Akechi Mitsuhide(WGXH) Ruler Perks: Arms Expert (Mitsuhide's soldiers take less damage from muskets) Tennozan Charge: Mitsuhide may use this skill to have any Akechi unit quickly gain speed and get to high ground or any advantegeous spot of Mitsuhide's choosing. Musket Blitz: If Mitsuhide has ashigaru teppou or samurai gunmen and some melee troops, he can use this skill to have his gunmen fire into an enemy unit's van while his melee soldiers attack an enemy's flank, thus causing good damage and confusion of the enemy ranks. Vengeful Onslaught: When on the battlefield with Oda, Tokugawa, or Toyotomi forces, Mitsuhide's soldiers can do more damage if this ability is used. Dian Wei said "damn" once I think that might have been in DW2 aswell though. But i know ive heard some in other games. And of cource, generic enemy officers say it in every game when defeated. "Damn, I wont be denied next time"

When DW2 came out, I was all over it. When I found out it wasn't a fighter game like the first one, I was bummed out at first. But after slashing through a few Yellow Turbans... I was hooked for life.

Posts: 2,724 Group: Members Member #9,336 Joined: August 23, 2007 Gender Male	DW2 was my first game, knowing me I choose a female and seeing that there was only one when you fist load uped...I picked SSX i loved her, especially when she rde a horse i was always like with that outfit she should have a bow...and 4 games later it happened but before thrn i fel in love with the chakrams anyway he only downfal to dw2 was that you could only have one save instead of multiple save points, thank gd this is corrected. oo bad i dont have it again hmmm maybe ill get them all the dw games just for the sake of it alla apart form 1.
