I borrowed it from a friend after playing getting a copy of DW3 and seeing if it gave me more information about the characters and setting. After that I discovered what it was based on. I had that guy's copy of DW2 for about a year or so, which meant I got some good use out of it.

One think I like better about 2 is the voice acting. There was very little of it but at least they had all the grunts and musou attack lines in English and it was pretty awesome. I love Xiahou Dun's line "Get outta here!" on his true musou; he sounds so BA! Too bad they kept the Japanese in-battle voices in 3, but at least they have message dialogue. Xiahou Dun in that game sounds like Captain Quark from R&C.

Tiger General Posts: 442 Group: Members Member #18,600 Joined: September 27, 2008	Best versions of Yellow Turban Rebellion and Hu Lao Gate were on this game, both felt like a proper challenge with sequences and such. Nowadays they're all very simply and conglomerated but back in the old days everything had it's own feel to it on that game. I think I still have it in my attic along with my PS2, might bring out one day later on in the month.

Soldier Posts: 7 Group: Members Member #13,538 Joined: February 23, 2008	I played the demo before the PS2 came out. On the night that the PS2 launched, I bought NHL 2001, Madden 2001, and this. I ended up playing this the most. I maxed out everyone, and I still have my save. Of course, I keep all of my DW saves (PS2) on the same memory card. I haven't played it in years. Just might have to break it out...
