Same here. I think he is "Zhao Yun" of SW, except Yukimura isn't a poster boy (thank god for that >_>).

Aw I liked him at once XD. Well I hope we get to see more of his family in the next SW for example his wife Chikurinin Otani. His son Daisuke was very young I think he died with 13 or 12 at Osaka Siege. I always wanted to see more of his brother Nobuyuki ,too, he wasn't that kind of an as* like he is always portrayed.

I'm comparing their game version. Historically, I believe they were totally different from each other, but going by games, they're not.

Aw no no I have joined a while (long time XD) ago I was just too lazy to write something . Well I have time now I think I will write a bit in the SW section.
I also have a nice story how I got to Samurai Warriors (it has do something to do with Yukimura) :
A friend of mine saw an advertisment with that picture of Yukimura and Kunoichi before a castle and she told me that "this guy looks pretty cool" and stuff. Well we wanted to play this game then and I bought the game at the same day and we played it .

So the fact is that Yukimura is the cause that I bought this game

Yeah but they are different just because we have a simmilar affair of war hardly means they are the same. In my view it's completly obsured to compare the two whether because Koei made them or because they have simmilar "playability"

<_< sorry dude just don't agree with you.

Hey, it's a game. Get over it. You're getting angry over something as trivial as this? That's really sad. <_<

As for Yukimura, I'm really not a fan, but I like his moveset and playability. He was the first character I maxed out in both games, despite my interest in other characters more than him.
Miyamoto Musashi
Perk: Niten-Ichi (Musashi's attack is up permanently in any duels.)
Calm before the storm: Musashi may counter the next move his opponent makes and deals 2x the damage. 1/2 chance of working.
Wise one: Tactics used by Musashi have a much higher chance of succeeding.
Ganryu Slayer: When fighting other Wandering Ronin, Musashi may use this to increase his attack exponentially.

I like both his 3rd and 4th charges. His third makes for a spectacular method of crowd control, while his 4th rocks enemy generals, and finished with a decent clearing range.

He really is pretty boss in general. For the past eight years, my favorite color has been red. When I saw his title "Warrior in red" I *had* to play with him first. After that, I saw the way he looks when he runs, rides a horse, attacks, etc. Man, he's freakin awesome to me. I also *really* loved his storyline.

I like Yukimura. He's not my #1 favorite. But somewhere in the top 5. I like him better in SW1 though. In SW2, the friendship craps with Mitsunari, Kanetsugu, and Keiji just ruins him.

oh, his third charge is very decent indeed. It usually break the enemy's guard.

KOEI's Yukimura makes me... sort of annoyed in a way? He seems to like shouting all the time. Apart from that, he's a okay and ideal character though. BASARA's Yukimura just takes the annoyance a step further.

;) Nope sorry i like both history's Yukimura & Koei's interpritation, as for a point made previous i am passionate about the Samurai era so is it wrong that i don't agree with something? <_< or as you term me to be "sad" i just stick to my opinions & beliefs sorry if that conflicts, also i made this thread as a tribute to Yukimura Sanada & not to be sceptical so if you don't like him then keep it to yourself i don't mind i just don't see the point saying you don't like him when i have indicated clearly "pay respect here"

ok thanks

I hate fighting Yukimura. His Charges are pretty good, though, and his Musou's awesome.

But I personally feel that Shingen > Yukimura.

To be fair, the topic is in the Samurai Warriors section, so it's about SW Yukimura anyway.

Yukimura once existed as a real human being a long time ago. The Mitsunari, Kanetsugu, Keiji friendship thing makes no sense because Yukimura had very little contact with them in real history. Magoichi may have been two different people and not the pervert in SW/SW2. Tadakatsu, Kenshin and Hideyoshi are better than Yukimura in terms of move-sets and musous and greater historical accuracy. Yukimura was 8 when Nagashino actually happened, c'mon Koei get your facts right and that goes double for you Capcom!

True, but when he says he likes from both SW and historical Yukimura, even though he only cares about the one in SW... that's weird >_>.
