Someone's got an attitude...

Yukimura has Nagashino for purely plot reasons. Since he values "gi" and the way of the samurai very highly, it's a major internal conflict for him to witness the end of the honor & glory old ways, being destroyed by the new age form of warfare as Nobunaga displays.

as for a point made previous i am passionate about the Samurai era so is it wrong that i don't agree with something? <_<  or as you term me to be "sad" i just stick to my opinions & beliefs sorry if that conflicts

It's sad because it's a video game. Calm the hell down, man.

Oh, proper grammar would also help. ;)

No. It's my right to critisize your views and to share my opinions. Don't like it? Leave.

No i don't intend on leaving unless the moderators & admins feel i should & as such maybe I should refer to Yukimura in his pen name if that calms the hype down around here ;)

hmm i guess i cannot get along with Wo Long but i don't mind as he said when looking at the game it's exactly that, however when we make silly........."comparisons" i could say it's my right to give my view & critizise too but i don't want to sound all hot headed all in the same post ;) :P

First of all, if you're not gonna leave, quit your bitching.

Second of all, you were posting your opinions of my thread and the idea behind it specifically, not about the topic at hand. That's why you were wrong.

Ok in light of your pathetic "you are posting in my thread" please stay away from my topic in future as you are making it clear my opinion is obviously not valid, second to that if i am bitching then you have misinterprited my entire thread too so i'm glad we have something in common (given the fact i got the wrong end of the stick in yours  cough)

Wo Long no posts here please & i will not post in your thread

end of sentance, end of chapter, end of story

have a nice day dude! ;)

No. I can post wherever I damn well please. I critisize your opinions because they are either pathetic (getting angry over the comparison of video game characters because you like samurai) or irrellevant (such as saying you think Yukimura is the best, even historically, even though this is the SW board).

How about you stop acting like a child.

hmm well how about you let people express their opinions & views without acting as though you are somewhat "superior" now who's the childish one, as for posting here i ask that you do not use something of an agressive tone & keep in mind i am here as a person not some crap of the sidewalk now for the sake of keeping the forum merry or at least this thread.

Now please if you cannot say something nice, don't bother posting at all as it will be a wasted effort of typing

I don't have to be superior to have a conflicting opinion. Fact of life, deal with it.

Great comeback. What really puts the nail in the casket is that it makes no sense.

If you don't like it, leave. I'm not going to conform to your wishes just because you're too immature and stubborn to accept people who are both smarter and have different opinions that your own.

First, I'll be cliche: "B-b-b-but he started it! :("

Second, I'll point you (not literally since I'm too lazy) in the direction of his posts. You'll see he's more at fault than I (if you can manage to decipher his posts).

My posts are hardly opinionated. I've just been making note of your errors which you are getting upset about.

Typical. Anyone with even a slight knowledge of psychology could figure out what you're doing. Apologizing, acting sincere, blaming yourself, etc. It's just an attempt to look like the "good guy" so you don't get in trouble. Very predictable defense tactic used by people like you who know they can't argue their way out of something like this, so stoop to telling moderators, acting innocent, and all of that crap.

Shutting up would be a very good thing for you to do right now. ;)

As Nouhime said, try to get along. If he really bothers you that much then notify a moderator or Admin or try to work it out yourselves through a PM. While it's true that Yojimbo started it, Wo Long contributed with constant insults. No action will be taken by me against either of you for now, just don't continue this any further.

Ok kids, playtime is over. I think we can get back on topic >_>.

So basically, I would like to know what's Yukimura's story in SW2, now that he doesn't serve Takeda anymore.

They kinda did...

Spoilers

Basically he hangs out with Kanestugu, Mitsunari, and Keiji after witnessing the death of the Takeda cavalry. IIRC, Keiji keeps telling him that he needs to stay alive despite not having a reason to live, Yukimura finds it at Osaka (his last stage) and ends up fighting Keiji after defeating Ieyasu.

Yukimura's story in SW2 revolves around him trying to find the cause for fighting, in an intersting twist Yukimura places his friendships above all else & is willing to fight with every ounce of strength within his body to fight for his beliefs & himself.

So his story is more fictional now >_>? Too bad, because I really liked from his story in SW, where he had Ueda and Osaka Castle (and his ending was one of my favourites).

But don't reveal too much for me, because I want to see it myself when I play as him.

Indeed with the involvement of Mitsunari & Kanetsugu, i won't spoil it but there are some great FMV's in his story especially his opening movie.

Hmm i'd love to do a campeign with you in story mode, your fav samurai & my fav samurai that would be cool!

Anyway dude enjoy the game!!! :D

BTW lol castle battle's now just rock the house down!!! no loading woooo!

Without wanting to spoil the element of drama, has anyone else seen Yukimura's opening FMV? That's a pretty dark atmosphere it gives you & they have captured Nagashino's brutality in the best possible way! what a way to kick off Yukimura's tale, sets you off with quite the adrenaline rush!!! nice work Koei!

Yukimura still has Ueda and Osaka (His last levels besides his Dream.)

The only more blatantly fictional part of his story compared to SW1 is the result of Osaka, which I think is better than having him be Shingen's puppy through Kawanakajima and Mikatagahara. >_>

Yukimura's story makes almost no sense in SW2 and I was baffled by it in SW anyway. Keiji probably wasn't even at Nagashino and Yukimura was only 8 when it happened. There is just corpses strewn about and Oda soldiers firing muskets. I call the insensitive destruction of one of the greatest cavalry regiments of all time brutal, the fire/reload/repeat tactic isn't brutal just really f*ckin' cool.

Yukimura being friends with Mitsunari and Kanetsugu didn't happen in real history so stop blending the two together. Yukimura's story has almost been completely fictional, Tadakatsu and Ieyasu have the only historically plausible story. If there are SW games in the future, they should have more historical accuracy

The main focus of SW dude is to showcase if you like some exploits of the samurai while also making it an engrossing yet innovative game for all so sometimes the hisorical accuracy will waver dude to these ideas & to try & keep most fans somewhat interested in the series, there are more historical accurate games around so don't knock SW for that.

it's fun, original, & easy to get immersed in & that's what i like anyway putting history aside from the game.

Remember, it took the DW developers 5 games to finally get more fact than fiction in their games, so don't be suprised if SW is a bit more fictitious for a while.
