I enjoyed playing through his storyline, although I find it a little too similar to Musashi's. He's like the Keiji to Musashi. Moveset-wise, he kicks ass. Getting his 4th weapon is a breeze, much to my surprise.

(I am myopic with the Warriors games because I only like people from the games I've played, those being SW1 and DW4.) I am undecided when it comes to favorites, but when it comes to bests, Yukimura is the best of the best.

He's often seen with conflict within himself and is actually a well like poster boy by me. I like his spear and moveset and I actually prefer him over Zhao Yun in terms of representation as Zhao Yun is a little too pure. Plus, I like how his attacks are flamed not lightning, just a preference in element. His design for SW3 has grown on me, I didn't like it so much originally but I do now. His SW2 outfit is hard to beat however, that was pretty damn good I thought . Edited by Burning Devil Scholar, Aug 9 2009, 04:52 PM.

It is kinda sad that Koei made him serve Shingen and Katsuyori (his father was only about 17 during Kawanakajima and he was only 8 during Nagashino). I personally want Yukimura to have his awesome daddy in the game to add depths on Yukimura's personality.

Sergeant Posts: 23 Group: Members Member #23,067 Joined: August 6, 2009 Gender Male	Yuki Sanada has always been one of my big favorites (He was very very epic in the trailer for SW3) and I think his new costume is absolutely sweet as (the white robe covering the armour looks very cool). I always liked his conflict with Ieyasu. As rivals they go together really well. Even through its somewhat depressing I thought his top ending (like many other fans here have said as well) in the first Samurai Warriors game was touching and well made. In all honestly his friendship with Keiji in SW2 was very out of place IMO but just passes. But I didn't like his ending in SW2 though I did enjoy the 3 musketeers thing he had going with Mitsunari and Kanetsugu during the game. For SW3 Koei should scrap Keiji altogether and concentrate on the 3 musketeers again but more indepth. But if Koei desides to add Masayuki Sanada in the mix as a special npc that too could be explored for a new take on Yukimura's story.

His moveset is fun to use (C4 of poe-pwnage!), he grows as a character, his voice has never gotten on my nerves (loved it in SW2), and some of his quotes are awesome (Stand down, or be slain!). And of course, his greatness is expounded upon by his hotness. Yeah, I said it, so to all the people that think saying characters are hot is nonsense: If they're hot or attractive, then you better believe I'm gonna say so!

His current spear looks to bland and generic His new outfit looks quite cool, but I still like his SW2 outfit the most.

Nemesis Posts: 78 Group: Members Member #23,311 Joined: August 27, 2009	Yukimura ROCKS! He is the first guy I played as in SW2, although had previously played as him in the WO series. I think he is much better than his DW counterpart Zhao Yun, BTW what does everyone think of the Zhao Yun-Yukimura second costume color swaps? You know where Zhao Yun is in red and Yuki is in Silverish White, Green, and Blue? I think Yuki looks AWESOME! I don't like his SW3 look as much as I did his SW2 and SW1 costumes, Koei is trying to make him look too much like Zhao Yun. For any haters out there, realize that Yukimura was not only one of the greatest warriors in the Sengoku period but also a great tactical strategist as well. If you want to make comparisons to Three Kingdoms figures I'd say you could compare him to Zhang Liao, Cao Ren, or Jiang Wei in the historical sense.

Especially with the "Oyakata-sama!!" parts.

Well I hope we get to see more of his family in the next SW for example his wife Chikurinin Otani. His son Daisuke was very young I think he died with 13 or 12 at Osaka Siege. I always wanted to see more of his brother Nobuyuki ,too, he wasn't that kind of an as* like he is always portrayed. yeah they should include his family wait wasn't his wife akihime his wife would be a great addition to the next SW series

He has a killer moveset, and his character hasn't really disappointed me yet. I'm upset that he seems to ignore Kunoichi in SW3, but I'll let it go for now. I liked his relationship with Keiji in SW2, and it's great to see him treating Ina like a sister in SW3 (I hope this is a sign that Nobuyuki will be added soon). Overall, he's a great character with a great story, and deserves to be Samurai Warriors' poster boy.
