Rusted yet Formidable Posts: 59 Group: Members Member #19,479 Joined: November 10, 2008 Gender Male	For DW5 I personally found Pang De's moveset very effective, as the dual halberds provided excellent coverage and range, complementing his great power and crowd clearing skills. His C3 was also good on individuals, and I found his to be among the best. Lu Bu, as everyone has already said, was also really powerful. Outside of Pang De, the other moveset I found to be most effective was Wei Yan- He had quick, powerful attacks with range and coverage, and his C4, C5, and C6 all made for good crowd clearers, while his breakdancing C3 of death was excellent for both generals and crowds.

SS501 Obessed Fangirl (don't judge me) Posts: 507 Group: Members Member #16,218 Joined: June 19, 2008	Zhao Yun is pretty effective because his weapon has range. I also think Zhou Yu's and Cao Pi's moveset is pretty good as well. For Zhou Yu his moves are powerful and same with Cao Pi's.

Posts: 30 Group: Banned Member #20,316 Joined: January 8, 2009 Gender Undisclosed	DW5: out of everybody, excluding Lu Bu, i'd have to say either Gan Ning or Jiang Wei...I once went through a whole mission without being hit with Gan Ning...Jiang Wei has range and he often swings his weapon around to hit everybody but someone directly behind you...which you can just turn him and not have to worry about it... DW6: Liu Bei...the first time I played him I fought Guan Yu with the red and black aura stuff going and never got hit... However, I died repeatedly when I fought Guan Yu doing Lu Bu's story...and Lu Bu had been played once before...

Posts: 252 Group: Banned Member #18,822 Joined: October 5, 2008 Gender Undisclosed	-Ma chao cuz unlike Zhao Yun(who swing up and down like he's holding his you know what in his hand) he haves the most real and efective moves to survie and kill a oponent easy(stabing him whit his spear quick and finishing him whit a revers angle slash hit) -Zhou tai cuz katana style fighting is just cool,he swings and hits and puts his katana back in his case and he does that so fast that he could slice a snowflake and then he defends the same way every block he puts his katana back to his case...just cool. -Zhang Liao and Xiahou Dun

General Posts: 354 Group: Members Member #20,552 Joined: January 25, 2009 Gender Male	If talking about DW6, I would have to say Cao Pi in DW6:S/PS2 His attacks are long ranges and very controlled. His musou is very effective. While his charge attacks are kinda ineffective until the end, he gets by well enough. Followed closley behind Cao Pi, is Ma Chao and Sun Shang Xiang

His quick slash attack in his later triangle combos -- the one that had instant death on it in DW3 -- meant lots of hurt real quick. Xiahou Dun was always nice, too -- hack, hack, hack, hack -- just keep on plowing through everyone. Lu Bu always has a great moveset, because, well, he's Lu Bu. His range is just incredible.

He surpass Lu Bu with his versatility, and safeness with a horse. Now, visually and with the fun factor, Xiahou Dun (DW2-5) have not only the best moveset, but one of the most beautiful weapons from all koei games (Kirin Fang). I REALLY miss it in DW6.

KOEI Warriors Faction Founder & KOEI Game Promoter Posts: 877 Group: Members Member #10,622 Joined: October 26, 2007	Well after testing some movesets on my CAW's i have to say the following Movesets (From DW6 Empires Only) Meng Huo: it Obliterates anyone that dares to get through it Zhao Yun: It's range is unmatched in the Spear Movesets Gan Ning: By far the Fastest Duel handed moveset (Speed attack wise) Liu Bei: By Far the Fastest Duel handed Moveset (Power Attack Wise) Zhang He: it definately has a random attack pattern making it unexpecting to anyone in it's path Ling Tong: This Unique Moveset has perfect speed, Attack and Range to match Yue Ying: the full Speed attack combo on this makes it near impossible to block Ma Chao: Give this Moveset Phantom hand and you may as well consider it a Shield as well as a sword These are by far the most effective movesets i've seen in DW6 Empires if only the weapons had more designs...oh well
