 I think that kessen 2 has really cool things in it like the specials but its ashame that when you fight it doesn't actually do anything <_< What does everyone else think? :rolleyes: |

Kessen 2 doesn't like to go along with history much, the story is Diao Chan and Liu Bei are in love
 but Cao Cao :angry: kidnaps her and basically Liu Bei goes crazy trying to get her back, once you complete the game with Liu Bei you can use Cao Cao, Wu is in it too but a lot less than the other two and Sun Shang Xiang is called Sun Li
 The way you lose a battle is that your morale completely goes down until theres none left

it's like DT in a vague sense.However, I like the graphics much more. Also, fighting does actually lower the enemy troops by a tiny bit. For an example, try a manual charge. during it, the number of enemy soldiers decreases significantly. And you found it hard? Odd...I didn't lose a single batle. (Didn't really play it with Cao Cao) Oh, and also three more changes. There are a number of added fictional characters (mostly female), Xu Zhu is apparently replaced with a fat woman, and Yu Jin is...um....a transvestite. However, Xiahou Yuan is (appropriately) far more badass in this game than he's portrayed. |

kessen 2 is ok though i only played the beginning of Liu Bei's story. its cool how you can control the whole army. |

if i were you i'd get kessen2 unless your into samurai warriors because i think that kessen 1 is based on the samurai warriors characters(i think)

Hmm Kessen 1 and 2 are mainly based on DW "Romance of Three Kingdoms" that's china history But the outcoming Kessen 3 is based on the Sengoku period, that's Japanese history, so if you have any Samurai Warriors or samurai Warriors:XL saving files, please don't delete it first, you might have 2 special characters to play on Kessen 3  *I was playing the Japanese version so my information might be right/wrong for the US version

I guess Kessen 3 is a new "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" like game, only it takes place in Japan and uses the characters from SW. Oda Nobunaga looks a lot less evil, Date Masamune still looks like a kid and, of course, an imbecile, and looks like Takeda Shingen's keeping his fan. I've never played the Kessen series, but from the game previews Koei keeps handing out from games like DW5 and RTK10, I get to keep in touch with the new games Koei is releasing to the public. |

Kesssen's much different from RoTK. In RoTK, domestics take precedence over battle. in Kessen, domestics are, at least in K2, a single choice you make before each battle, such as Recruit, Drill, or Rumor. Also, there are far less officers. |
