Operation Winback Series; Load of crap no?

Lord of KOEI Warriors: Conquerors Posts: 2,786 Group: Members Member #2,509 Joined: July 7, 2006 Gender Male	Well I have only played the first one, and in my point of view it completely failed as a 3rd person shooter. The graphics were not too shabby considering it originally was a N64 game. But I feel that the gameplay, the controls, and the character development was aweful. The multiplayer also seemed kind of limited and pretty basic, not too much fun me thinks. Though I havn't played the second one yet, but from what I have heard and seen, it doesn't look much better. All in all, I say KOEI should stick to what they are good at, and stop attempting to make other styled games that they clearly fail at.

Voracious Posts: 880 Group: Members Member #4,030 Joined: October 31, 2006	The very first WinBack was one of Koei's first released for the PS2 along with Dynasty Warriors 2. I loved the very first WinBack. There is still something about that game that makes me want to play it more and more. The plot is fantastic, there is mystery, betrayel, and the story is very good. Again, there's something about that game that simply made it one of the greatest games of all time in my opinion. WinBack 2 Project Poseidon was a sequel to the game. I wrote both reviews for www.gameFAQs.com and www.gamespot.com WinBack 2 lacked the mystery and plot as the first. You were given an obective and the mission time was limited for the team to get the job done. It was a lot more realistic than the first WinBack and the graphics were amazing. If I ever land a job at Koei, I will write a story for WinBack 3, in which Jean-Luc Cougar returns to stop another terrorist inflitration. The catch is a college university that has been taken over, and beneath the college campus lies an underground uranium/nuclear facility. I haven't made up my mind yet, but Jean-Luc and his new team, accompanied by Lisa Roberts, are called in. A new adventure and story awaits with plenty of deception and mystery as the SCAT team is sent in to get the job done.

Unregistered	You don't need to have a job at Koei to have ideas. Why don't you email Koei with your game plot and see if you get a reply back? I know that HondaTadakatsu (Makoto) of this forum has emailed Koei before on things and received favorable responses.

I have tried in the past to contact Koei but I have always failed in which when I reach their consumer contact page, I am redirected to a 404 or something... Does KoeiWarriors have a contact page somwhere here that I can use?
