The blue bar is HP bar, the green bar surrounding the MS icon is Musou bar. There is a Boost Gauge which is marked by the blue-red thing on the MS icon. It looks like three-way battles will be also here. Pilots and MS will grow separately. Pilots will have SW2-ish skills. MS can be equipped with DW-ish items. Up to 3 items can be equipped. MS do not share those items, though. Official Mode is the story mode that follows the event on the actual anime. Only the 3 main protagonists (Amuro, Camille, Judau) & antagonists (Char, Scirocco, Hamaan) can be chosen here. Original Mode, like the title, is an Original story mode, where UC & AU Gundams meet. It takes place in a 'mysterious' planet. Unlike DW & SW, this one will have some English texts in the menus in JP version. Bandai-Namco did ask KOEI to collaborate on making this game. Anyway, unless there is a name beside the Gundam name, I'm sure it'll focus on the usual UC timeline. DB Musou... but what about the peons? The enemy sides will have obvious peons (like Cell's Juniors or Frieza's underlings), but what about Goku & co? Weak, one-hit-KOable normal warriors?
 As much as I think a Naruto Musou is a better idea, I have to admit Gundam is a much better way to go.

I wonder if Omega Force is going to work on this project as well. Nothing was stated about them in the article, only Koei. It also says that the project is titled "Gundam hit or miss" so I don't really know what will happen with this. Hopefully, they will create it and make it into an awesome game. I'm sure the reviews will say its a "miss" like they always do for Dynasty Warriors game reviews <_< I got a translation of the site for those who can't read Japanese. *cough*Babelfish*cough* The project name is Gundam Musou. and Musou means "No double".
That's for the US market. In JP, reviewers tend to give high scores to Musou series. |

No news for it to be released on English version, it's all up to Namco Bandai... Since they want their Gundam to be MUSOU-lized then KOEI will join in as a developer lol!! Yes, DW and SW got the high scores in JP, so if we all want this game to be released on English, maybe we have to see Namco Bandai's decision then... And yeah, this game looks awesome on PS3!! |

Thanks BlackKite and this topic is pinned! I didn't know that but this is a good news. I surely don't hope this will affect DW and SW for releasing the next series slower, but I know KOEI is now employing more designers and programmers to join the company! So yeah, a surprising news really! |
