He was the true ruler of Wei he cared more for his people than Cao Cao did. He's got an brilliant moveset, he is able to launch an ice projectile after alot of his charge attacks, also after his evo attack your able to luanch a shadow projectile, which looks cool. His weapon looks cool becuase of the unique desine, being able to pull the swords apart is a great idea! Thats why Cao Pi s my fave character. |

he looks like a vampire version of my fav handsome zhao yun =/. I don't think he is the true ruler of Wei though but he is better in fightning than cao cao |

Cao Pi kind of takes the reins from Cao Cao in his musou mode. In Cao Cao's last stage, he is the second-in-command to his father. His character shows resentment towards his father. |

They should have added his battles against Wu. It's weird to see him in He Fei Castle... he should be dead at that point and Cao Rui should be the commander, but instead he's just a regular NPC :huh:. |

Just another example of how KOEI plays fast and loose with history for the sake of storyline. To be honest, I'm not really much of a historical stickler when it comes to these games, anyway. I'm more than happy to suspend my sense of reality when it comes to games. It's always struck me as kind of funny that people will complain a storm about women fighting wars or people being in battles they weren't even alive during in history yet they don't bat an eye at the fact that, in this game, Sun Quan can kill six men with one maneuver of his sword. At any rate, I was happy with the persona they gave Cao Pi in DW5. They made him a worthy successor of his father's legacy, yet gave him an independent streak that made him want to let the world know that he had ambitions of his OWN. In a lot of ways he seems more manipulative and cunning than his father. I could wish that his moveset were a little faster since I seem to get interrupted a lot mid-charge attack, but it's not bad at all. Looks-wise he's fantastic. I like him. |

Really? If you use Cao Cao with Yin orb,and use his C6 (while using,press the key of "charge-attack" continuously) as many times as possible,I think you will soon change your view . It will be very fast to defeat enemy's officers absolutely. |

IMO, Cao Cao's moveset is more efficient than Cao Pi's, and the musou better... But the 10th attack (the Black-Red orb) of Cao Pi is unique in all the game... I like this character better than Cao Cao though, but that's for his personality in the game, and some of his attacks, like the ice orb... After that, if I had to choose from a political view, I think Cao Cao is way better than him... |

Cao Pi is cold, emotionless, and at times very bitter. Cao Cao is stern, yet he has some emotion. Cao Cao is better than Cao Pi in almost every way. Cao Cao is cold because of his ambitions, Ca Pi is just cold all the time. |

Cao Pi has one of my favorite quotes in Dw. I've actually forgotten exactly what he says, but I can sort of recall the gist of it. You can hear it when you're playing as Sun Quan and you approach Cao Pi at Hefei Castle. Cao Pi remarks something along the lines of: "Aren't you the ruler of all those frolicking Southern rubes?" Classic. |

Actually Cao Cao got rid of poverty in his lands. Anyway Cao Cao I think is better than Cao Pi as a character. In my opinion he has a better moveset and personalltiy. |

Cao Pi is 100% arrogant. I kinda hate him for that reason, AND I absolutely hated getting his 4th weapon. I had to go through playing Wu Zhang Plains several times on Normal just to boost his ATK and DEF to max, and then I had to play it several more times to get a decent 3rd weapon! I honestly considered attempting Cao Pi's 4th weapon with a 2nd weapon with ATK 19 and DEF 18... Then what really ticked me off was that when I got Cao Pi's 4th weapon I got a really good 3rd weapon too! It gave +15 bonuses for Life and something else (I think Horse), and then it had low-10 bonuses for two other stats. It was a great 3rd weapon, better than the stupid ATK 9 and SPD 14-3rd weapon that I used...>_< I like his C1 and C5. I hate all of his other attacks. His C6 is okay with a Light Orb. I kinda like his True Musou, but Cao Cao does better. MUCH better.

I love Cao Pi. His personality fits him nicely. His true musou is okay, it could've made it much better though. My one tip is not to use him in Rampage mode unless your a true Cao Pi master. His 4th level weapon was a pain to get but it is best to get the weapon through Musou Mode instead of Free Mode. It was slighty easier to get it that way. I think Cao Pi is a good all round character. They should've improved or changed his musou attack to make it much easier to clear out enemies. |

Well, he was the first Emperor of Wei, and Cao Pi wasn't selfish,he cared alot more for his people than alot of good rulers (hehe, I'm comparing again :D) |

Dun and Zhu were both promoted in rank as well as 10 others, including Cao Ren to the rank of Grand Commander, Cao Pi didn't fight as much as the other kingdoms for the 7 years he reigned, because he couldn't win against allied Shu and Wu, so he went into politics and his people were happy. |
