Apologies.

So, i presume that these are to be done on the 7th Gaiden correct? (I'm guessing that each gaiden besides that last is unlocked automatically, or is there requirements for them too?)

Once again, thanks in advance.

Only the last gaiden stages that have requirements. Other than the last gaiden stage, they are unlocked automatically.

You asked at the wrong section.

Anyways, here it is: (I also have the game but I kinda forget some of the things)

To unlock the 8th/last Gaiden, you need to fulfill some tasks in the 7th stage (Main story, that is)

Shu    : Have all ally officers including yourself escape the castle within 2 minutes after the castle starts to burn
Wei    : Kill Da Ji within one minute after her betrayal
Wu    : Rescue Sun Jian & Quan within 3 minutes
Sengoku: Get 1000 KOs

Apologies.

So, i presume that these are to be done on the 7th Gaiden correct? (I'm guessing that each gaiden besides that last is unlocked automatically, or is there requirements for them too?)

Once again, thanks in advance.

No, Meia posted it correctly as the 7th main Story stage, NOT the 7th Gaiden stage ...

Yes I know that I should move the posts, but I'm still not familiar with all the moderation option on an invision power board (about moving a post), so I wouldn't want to do something wrong in the process :)

I've got some questions about this game. (Sorry for alot, but I haven't kept up with much info about this so I'm sort of behind on my info)

1)- How is the ally AI in this game? Can allies actually defeat officers and enemies while doing well like DW5 or did they pull a SW1 type situation.
2)- Does Orochi/Da Ji have a story mode?
3)- If I play a officer in free mode who didn't have the battle in story mode but was actually in the level (AI, Guan Yu being at a battle but not having said battle in his story) will they replace the AI version of the officer.
4)- Can you only use one character instead of a trio party thing?
5)- If you use more than one character on a party that would otherwise be in the battle what happens? Say Guan Yu and Da Ji were in the battle and I used both. Would the AI versions of them exist still or would they be replaced with my characters.
6)- Are there many different horses in this game?
7)- Is the game more mission based or freeplay themed. For instance in DW5 you could usually kind of take your time in most battles, sometimes even sitting and letting allies fight for a while. Whereas in most SW series battles you had to complete the objectives promptly or you lost.
8)- Does each story include a fair amount of battles? I was told they only have 4 or 5 and it sort of made me sad. Confused
9)- Does Orochi/Da Ji ever appear as a allied general for battles? I was told they do in some/a modest amount but I haven't been able to confirm it.
10)- Does Nouhime and Nobunaga/ Cao Pi and Zhen Ji romance get shown at all? Or did they get overlooked in that regard.

Thanks! And sorry for the long list of stuff. >.>"

I believe this is the proper thread to ask questions in. It seemed to be the best out of the others so I hope I wasn't wrong.^^ (the help thread seemed more for like how to beat levels and unlock content)

1) Typically yes.

2) Actually, No, because the story is like in DW4.

3) I'm a bit confused about this question.

4) No, but you can play as one character if you don't wanna use the other two characters to finish the battle.

5) I guess no.

6) Only two different horses, Matsukaze (SW2) and Red Hare (DW5)

7) More to mission based but not like SW1.

8) Each story has 15 stages.

9) No, they are the enemies. :o

10) I don't think so though, well, for Nouhime and Nobunaga because Nouhime is with Wei and Nobunaga is with Sengoku. For Cao Pi and Zhen Ji, well, kinda though.

I'd answered this based on my experience on playing the Japanese version of MO.

Sorry, if the answers are not that relevant because I haven't played it for weeks.

Thanks for the reply. I'll clarify questions 3 and 5 for you.

3)- Lets say I play any stage that Da Ji is in as a allied officer. (For example, the opening wei stages) In that stage I play as Da Ji. Will my character replace the AI version of her (like how the AI version got replaced in the other games except SW1) Or will my Da Ji just be a generic officer while a AI Da Ji remains.

5)- For this I meant. Lets say I play in a stage with Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Liu Bei.
Now I add all three of those to my party.. What happens? Will my three characters all replace the AI versions, or does only one of them? Or none of them ect.

Also another question I have is are there actually any levels where Orochi is on your side? I noticed the stage guide seems to indicate most of them only include Da Ji and not Orochi.

*remembering*

3) No, it will stay the same. You use Da Ji, and Da Ji it is.

5) You mean during the battle? I don't think so, I guess because it will stay the same.

Orochi on your side? Nope. But you can play as Orochi if you have unlocked him in any stage.

Ah so the AI version of the general stays despite me using the same character?

That sucks :(

Actually, if the officer is an ally, they will be replaced with a generic officer if you use them. (ally Nobunaga is replaced by Nobutada if you are using Nobunaga)

Alright. So if I have say Da Ji in a level where she's an ally officer there WON'T be a AI version of her in the battle? But instead a different generic officer.

Right?
(Sorry, I want to absolutely make sure I understand^^)

Well, you'll never actually have Da Ji in your force, last I recall. Whenever she helps you, she's in a separate yellow Ally force, so the player's character choices won't change her.

Ah I got you know.

So it only works for actual members of your army, not allied forces generals.

Thank you :]

It sort of bums me out, though. Da Ji and Orochi don't even get a story.. ~_~ I had hoped you could at leas take over their role in a battle via free mode but apparently that isn't even possible. -sigh-

I think all characters are replaced by sons, when play they.
Cao Cao= Cao Zhang or so
Liu Bei= Liu Chan?
Sun Jian, Sun Ce, Sun Ce = ?
Guan Yu= Guan Xing?
Zhang Fei= Zhang Bao?
Zhang Jiao= ?
Zhang He= ?
Zhang Liao= ?
and who replaced the girls, when play they?

So when playing co-op I heard that the 2nd player has to use the same team as player 1. In that case, how does leveling them up work if the same characters are being used at one time?

Yup, 2nd player will use the same team but with different colors.

About the EXP, I'm a bit confused though. I didn't care much about it while playing the Japanese version <_<
