Weell. Yoshihiro's and Tadakatsu's are probably the best, followed by Hanzo, Nobunaga, Ginchiyo and Ieyasu

Yoshihiro's specials can be used in combination very easily. Up attack+instant damage is a very useful thing indeed, coupled with Yoshihiro's strength and range.

Nene- Fun factor of level 3 clone and turning into a unique character gets a ten out of ten.

Hanzo- He can clone himself for more damage and combo hits, and his elemental special is quick and devastating.

Nobunaga- If you can knock away your enemies far away enough it gives you time to activate the shield and whil the shield up give your sword more power to gain access to his third charges from part one.

Fumma- His grab move is great for simply throwing enemies into each other and does pretty good damage nor can it be interupted. The fireball attack allows for follow up hitsif Kotaro is close enough to his opponent, he can catch them while they are still falling to the ground.

Musashi- Regaining large portions of his musou and it's quick to execute, and his counter attack is effective in both crowds and one on one fights.

Tadakatsu- Regaining his musou and hecan also hit his opponents one or two times during execution, the ramming ability is only really good for escaping danger if the time calls for it, and saving an ally from being juggled to death.

Ginchyio- Summoning lightning around her, no very damaging but it's quick and drops opponents to the ground, her weapon charge makes her attacks faster which is always good; I wish it also made her blade stronger though but in being quick to execute I can't complain.

Ieyasu- His cannonballs are good for getting headstart damage against charging enemies and killing retreating enemies, as well as breaking shields.

Ranmaru/Mitsuhide's dash- this is great forgetting quick damaging and occasionally instant kills on enemies and it leves a cool after image.

Keiji/Yukimura- Calling in your horse is really useful when concluding a fight with a bunch of soldiers and doing your musou over and over it's pretty easy to stray from your horse and on levels that require you to protect your commander and he gets ahead of you call the steed and catch up to him.
Just go some were and die!

1) Ina's elemental shot = Long range, really effective & powerful :lol:
2) Nene's Henka/Transforming Jutsu = Very good when you want to try to use another officers :P
3) Ginchiyo's lightning attack = Good if you fight bunch of soldiers.

Top Three...

Mitsuhide's Iaijutsu - Not only is it shura element for a chance to insta-kill people, if you have less than Awakening 2 and use your Level 3 Musou and use the Iaijutsu, all of the explosions become shura element.

Musashi's Musou Restore - Dur.

Ieyasu's Cannon - The charge version passes through enemies and can smack away crowds, while the regular version is great for nailing retreaters and for cheesing enemy officers in corners who try to recovery jump all the time. :ph43r:

Shingen's Body Toss - It's fun!

I would say Shingen and Ranmaru. Both of their Specials remain useful even when they're at higher levels. Unofrtunetly, this is not the case with Tadakatsu and Musashi for example >_>.

Honda ramming people, that is very, very useful, if youre in a tight spot for example, also the musou-filler is good as well. Musashi's counter thingie is pretty useless.

1. Tadakatsu
2. Yoshihiro
3. Hanzo/Ieyasu/Nobunaga
The three-way tie for 3rd is me trying to be fair.

I usually dismount every time there's an officer and loads of peons. Tadakatsu's ramming special sorts them out, plus, it helps fill the Musou gauge. It's more useful than you think. I usually use Tadakatsu's ramming move when I am ganged up on by an officer and loads of peons.

Tadakatsu's S string and Charge attacks + Musou Refill skill are more than enought to get his Musou to max. He would do much better with Attack up - Defense down skill. With Yoshihiro, however, I think ramming skill is ok because his swing speed is slow compared to Tadakatsu and he doesn't have so many guard breakers >_>.

I agree that ramming skill is useful, but not with Tadakatsu.

I combine Tadakatsu's Square and Charge with his ramming move. Yoshihiro, I combine his attack up and ramming specials. With Yoshihiro, you can at least combo his specials, extremely useful.

1 - Sakon Shima's crowd control shockwave (it's lethal!)

2 - Hattori Hanzo's shadow duplication (added damage and increased attack radius)

3 - Oda Nobunaga's weapon power up (it's nothing special, but his C2 felt as if it had something missing without the psycho crusher type attack. I also enjoy prancing around with such a demonic looking weapon in hand with the added aura glow ^_^)

Yeah, his psycho crusher is great when linking his mousou afterhand. Unless you were refering to someone else other than me, or you were.. but not talking about Nobunaga's psycho crusher.. :mellow:

I was referring to Hanzo's duplicate special technique. Nobunaga's shield move+weapon power-up are great combo moves, only superceded by Yoshihiro's.

you know even if you have the shield on while charging your weapon, certain attacks can still ruin the charge. it happened to me... <_< when it gets ruined it looks like you just had your guard broken while you are inside the shield. and i also think the weapon charge is immediately cancelled afterwards.

My favourites ones are :
Ginchiyo/Nobunaga's ability to power-up their weapons, really useful.
Nene's too, originals and effective.
Keiji/Yukimura's whistle, cause a horse is always something you must have if you have to hurry.

I've gotta say Musashi was a favorite for me. I loved to be able to counter and regain musou at any time. But then I also think Nene's cloning as a fun factor.. I loved playing as my own bodyguard XD

1.Musashi Miyamoto - regaining musou and doing a lot of damage at the same time is amazing
2.Keiji/Yukimura - being able to call on your horse is really helpful especially when its at the other side of the map
3.Any that power up weapon are useful

Yeah that's also good. I loved using Mitsuhide's quick-draw special, especially to finish off unique officers in slow motion ;)
And his counter attack would help against certain powered up enemies as well, and just looked too cool lol.
